Covered multiple times through the last 50-ish years, Amanda Seyfried covered it again in 2011 to promote the last adaptation of the fairy tale.

More than the amazing sound and arrangements, the song has a funny story behind it : after a NIN concert in Lisbon, a USB flash drive was found in a bathroom stall. The little thing contained only one mp3 -drumroll- My Violent Heart. Also, the static at the end, after being passed in “logarithmic spectrometer”, really is an “easter egg”:

Here you go ladies and gents, here’s a song from Chris de Burgh’s album “Spanish Train & other stories”, and the song is, of course “Spanish Train”. It’s a shame there’s not a lot of people (that I know of) that listen to his music, I feel that he’s really underrated, and that sucks, because, well, just listen! =)

The song is one orgasmic moment in the movie where the sex, the blood, the fast cars and the fucking immortality are presented as the very best, until it’s not.
