the first shift back on the job was an eventful one. someone that antonio and his partner were trying to help had taken a jab at him, landing one hell of a punch. ‘’SHIT– don’t worry..’’ he grumbles to himself, a string of swear words leaving his lips in spanish ‘’i’m fine. its just a scratch.’’ but do scratches even bleed that MUCH??

sydney: it just dawned on me that in my whole 17 years of life, i have never actually been black friday shopping

“isaac? hmm, that does sound like someone he’d do?” she muttered, tilting her head to the side as she thought of it. cleo didn’t care so much that someone prank called her, she just wanted to know who was it. she has the same phone number her entire life and didn’t need it to be some creep from middle school or something. “of course they called with a blocked number. i wouldn’t need to interrogate people about it if they didn’t. i kinda wished they were dumb like that, honestly.”

      ‘   YOUR CAR …   ’     she hesitates,    momentarily questioning whether the girl was being serious.   she just didn’t look like a … no lou,   don’t judge a book by it’s cover.     clearing her throat,   lou puts on her game face,      ‘ yes —  i kicked you car.  ’     that isn’t illegal as far as she’s aware.    unless the bumper is damaged.   her eyes fall down ,     unfortunately  it was still in perfect condition.    ‘  it was an accident.   no damage done —   can’t say the same for the ozone layer though.  ’

regina: that’s what i’m saying. if she was full term i’d be able to be with her 24/7, i should be able to be with her 24/7 now. it’s only fair.

regina: yeah, you’re right. and that’s a good point too... i just get so nervous when i’m not within walking distance from her. :/

gemma: it shouldn't matter if she's full term or not, you should be with her no matter what. that's some BS.

It had been a bit of a day for Elliot. Deadlines had stressed her out, she’d been working on her first ever dress commission for someone and on top of that she’d had a disgusting feeling of dizziness and fatigue dragging her down all day. She dumped her stuff down on the table closest to her, her hands steadying herself as she felt her head reel. “I’m sorry…” She mumbled, eyes finding the person at the table and shooting them a gentle smile. “Just felt a bit dizzy for a moment.”

regina: stupid fucking hospital won’t let me sleep in the stupid fucking family room anymore bc “they’re not a hotel.”

regina: and just as i was about to go to sleep in my car the stupid fucking security guard told me i can’t sleep in their parking lot. what the FUCK?

gemma: oh that's pretty fucked. they should have a special area for parents to stay

       ‘    WHO’S CAR IS THIS?!   ’    words full of rage,    lou puts her hands through her hair in stress.     she stands on the curb as if it were her own personal soap box.     a car beside her wearing a clear green sticker on the windscreen,    ‘   newsflash:   putting an     i care about the environment    sticker on a mercedes benz ? — ’    she gestures to the vehicle,    though no one is paying enough attention to notice.    ‘ is like putting a cow on the logo for a steakhouse.  ’    hands on her hips,     she stares back at the item of interest.    next thing she knows,    her foot slips  &  hits the bumper.     ‘  my bad. ’   okay maybe she kicked it on purpose.     

“Oh shit, I am so sorry!” They had just wanted a coffee after work but they hadn’t been paying attention and now it was all over themselves and the person they had ran into. For the better, perhaps. “I um, I have some napkins?”

Nico furrowed his brows. “Are Disney characters not a good thing? Don’t people find them attractive to some extent?” He knew he had. “Ahhh, I see. I’m Mexican so we had tequila as opposed to wine. That is not a fun thing to drink. Also a little hard to replace it with anything.”

“Nope.” She chuckled, making sure to pop the p, despite not knowing why. “Nothing happens anymore if there’s no pictures of it. It’s like… modern law.” Walking over to the tray, she picked up two red shots, handing one over to Gemma. “Are we supposed to say cheers or…?”
