My friend, Marina (Mexican and Black), said whenever she and her siblings would do something naughty when they were younger (like regular children) her mother would say “it’s because y'all have nigger in you” or “ y'all wouldn’t do this if the damn nigger in you was calm”.

i bought a bunch of super cheap worms on a string to add to people’s christmas gifts bc they’re fun and funny but i didn’t expect to get emotionally attached to them immediately. i would die for this piece of pipecleaner and costume fur on some fishing line

can’t say i’m a fan of the way beauty and ugliness are positioned as opposites. ugliness isn’t REAL, it’s a judgment that people make about your appearance. people say “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” but i think ugliness is in the eye of the beholder. beauty is a given. you exist, therefore you’re beautiful.
