2017 : The Summer of 2017 and this year in general was full of surprises for VIPs. Good and bad things happened to our beloved band. TOP’s enlistment, GD’s live tour and new album as well as Taeyang’s; but we’re here to talk about the new Jiyong tattoo. It looks like Jiyong got inked again and somehow nobody noticed until his M.O.T.T.E tour started. This is a little unusual for BigBang’s leader as in usual he’s the one dropping hints about his new tattoos. However, since this wasn’t the case this time a lot of fans saw the tattoo thinking at first that it was temporary ink made for his tour. Yet time went by and it seems that the tattoo is still here letting us assume that is real. The artist and the exact time of the tattoo is still unknown, as well as the meaning behind it. It appears to be a sketch of a rectangular picture frame on his right bicep. Could it be that the tattoo is not yet finished? Let’s hope to hear about it from GD :)

2016 (December) : Christmas is around the corner and Jiyong probably decided to give him self an early present by tattooing PEACEMINUSONE on the index finger of his right hand. G-dragon has said in interviews before that this phrase means a lot to him as it symbolizes peace, an idea he idealizes. The tattoo was revealed through his PEACEMINUSONE Instagram account  on December the 2ND, during his stay in Japan.  The artist of the tattoo is still unknown.

2015 (October) : 11&12 October GD and Taeyang got their new tattoos in NY during their MADE TOUR 2015 in US. First clue was given by YB’s insta update , as well as T.O.P ‘s but he deleted it afterwards. The tattoos are made by tattoo artist Anil Gupta in InkLine Studios.

As you can see in T.O.P’s most recent ig post YB did get a new tattoo as well

as GD. They were indeed made by artist Anil Gupta but we still don’t have a whole picture of them.

2015 (April) : 09.04.2015 while fans are waiting for the BIGBANG comeback G Dragon surprises them yet again with another artwork♥.  Dr. Woo uploaded picture on his instagram tagging GD. On his left inner arm G dragon tattooed a pistol “Kinda Tybalt inspired” as the artist said. The pistol resembles the one in the 1996 Romeo & Juliet  Remake movie, but istead of the ‘Holy Mary Grip’ , Jiyong tattooed Jesus. The tattoo was made in Shamrock Social Club Inc. and it kinda matches with the new BB concept MADE.

2014 (June) : The 14th and last  tattoo of G Dragon for 2014 (that we know of), is revealed through his instagram here and here . The tattoos are on his thighs . ‘INHALE’ is tattooed on his right thigh while 'ELAHXE’, mirrored for 'EXHALE' on his left.

2014 (April) :  'TO_HER' is Jiyong’s 13nth tattoo. ‘TO_' is tattooed on his right arm’s triceps, while 'HER.’ , is on his left. The meaning of the tattoo is a mystery, but maybe it could be dedicated to someone close to him (girlfriend, mother, sister etc), or even his muse.

UPDATE AUGUST 2016 : Apparently as shown in the last picture,                   G Dragon’s “TO_HER”  tattoo seems to be “TO_GET HER”. The “GET” part of the tattoo was seen for the first time on the VOGUE MAGAZINE PHOTOSHOOT for the Vogue Korea 20th Anniversary August Issue, shot by Karl Lagerfeld. Since it hasn’t been seen in any other pictures or photo shoots, a lot of people speculate that the tattoo was added very recently, when Jiyong met with artist Anil Gupta in New York during the BigBang Tour in the US. The tattoo could also be read as “TOGETHER” but it’s meaning remains unknown. Can also be seen here scroll a little
