the U.S. has a MASSIVE population compared to a lot of the other cun-controlled countries, and even now have poor crime rates regardless of the ban. The only issue with those bans statistically is that they already were heavily strict on the acquisition of weapons so that people weren’t even able to get them for personal defense and had just given up (Australia being my example for that.)

There is a DIRECT correlation between the lack of guns and the absence of mass shootings in a country.

The presence of legal guns in the united states makes mass shootings possible on a much more frequent level than anywhere else in the world. Making guns illegal in the US will significantly reduce that risk.

It’s the anti-gun laws and tight restrictions that prevent people from carrying them legally on their own person that prevent them from being able to react in a “Mass Shooting”. And the “Criminals don’t care” is on the basis now of the Paris attacks, somewhere that guns shouldn’t have been in the first place. And Australia’s violent crime has had a slight increase since they started the gun ban, though that was also because they weren’t that common there anyway.

Plus, how we acquire weapons is extremely regulated in most places in the United States, and you’ll find that the more highly regulated/restricted they are, the higher the homicide rates.

You’re trying to start another Prohibition, which didn’t work last time due to the presence of something called the Black Market and organized crime in America. The Prohibition, mind you was also enacted because “Oh no, people are getting hurt by the use of this! Make getting a gun/gun permit more like getting a driver’s license:

permit to learn

includes an exam with 18 or more questions on the policies, laws, and etc of guns and gun ownership

if you get more than 8 questions incorrect you must retake it.

30 hours of practical experience at a gun range with a licensed teacher

Must take a 5 hour class on the dangers of guns and how to use them safely which will then yield you a certificate that grants you to take the practical exam and lasts for one year. If you don’t gain the license within the allotted year you must retake the class.

A practical exam with a licensed instructor who will grade you on various skills. If you pass you may be granted a permit on the weapon of your choice, the exams may differ on the type of firearm you want.

Follow the Japanese model where you must have two gun safes in different areas of the house, one to store the gun and one to store the bullets and you must provide the police with information on where those safes are.

No concealed carry and only handguns may be allowed to be out in public.

If transporting a weapon, it must be in the trunk of the vehicle, in a bag or some other case, safety on and unloaded and may not leave the vehicle until you are at the destination.

If you’re a hunter or some other gun hobbyist that requires a functional weapon other than a handgun then the gun must stay on the premises, whether that is a gun range or the Fish and Wildlife facility.

If you live in a rural area where police (and people, for that matter) are few and far between, something akin to a deer hunting rifle should provide plenty of protection from predators and poachers, you still have to follow the aforementioned steps.

Hm, wonder how Australia likes more violent deaths for its people over-all, but boy if dying to a gun is so much more inhumane than being beat to death.

Japan’s a highly restrictive, communistic country with a lot of abusive powers and fear mongering, which the United States has guns so that the Government CANNOT do such a thing to them.

Switzerland has limited gun control and highly ENCOURAGES the use of weapons. Because, guess what? Even if you’re a criminal with a gun, in an area such as Switzerland you can assume the other guy has one, too. If you can safely assume the other person doesn’t, then you have an advantage above them and makes it easier to conduct such crime.

Fact check yourself before you keep this up, mate. I’m all for educating our citizens and people on how to handle guns, but forcing down the throats of the U.S. this regime that has not worked elsewhere won’t help anyone.

Why did you choose your URL?:  I’ve just always had this name since I was like 13yrs old XD I got the name during my weeaboo ages where I put my name into this “turn your name japanese” generator. Literally added a U and a extra N to my name. And now its just a joke but i cant bear to not use this username pff.
