AN ESCAPE

I’ll never forget this. This was in 2014. Friends and family of the Infinite members made video messages. For Sungyeol, Daeyeol left a heartfelt message. Daeyeol was well known among Inspirits since he had appeared in Sesame Player when the members visited Sungyeol’s house. Watching this showed how much Sungyeol cared for Daeyeol. He always took care of Daeyeol. Sungyeol had mentioned before how he regretted not training, as an idol, he’s been an actor trainee before that, for a longer period of time. He’d was always criticised for his singing when he first debuted and only had a few lines. He didn’t want his brother to experience that as well. I also noticed that Daeyeol cares a lot about how Sungyeol thinks about him. In Daeyeol’s Golden Time, when he cooked for his family, he showed the biggest reaction when Sungyeol praised his cooking. His mother even mentioned that he only cared when his hyung complimented him. He didn’t really react when his parents praised his cooking. He cares about his brother’s opinion of him and I think that it shows. Another incident that I remember is that Sungyeol mentioned, I think it was a Japanese interview, that Daeyeol told him about his concerns about being the leader of Golden Child. Their relationship is very deep and strong, despite the constant jokes that they aren’t close, and I admire that. Their relationship is, to me, one of the most honest sibling relationships I’ve ever seen. They bicker and tease each other like many other close siblings, AKMU, Moonbin and Moon Sua, Yoo Junsun and YooA etc. I’ve supported Daeyeol for a long time and I really just wanted to post about the the Yeol Brothers relationship. Let’s give Infinite and Golden Child a lot of love. (Lovelyz too)
