Meaningless Discretion

1.) Animal Death due to negligence.

Within the first 20 mins of the movie you will see a close up of a cat corpse. A cat eats the main character's medication and dies because of it. You don't see the cat dying, it has already died. You see the main character cleaning up after it. You will see the corpse three separate times and there will be reference to it several times throughout the movie. There's also implications that the cat was then cooked and ate. That's important to mention on top of this because it was so stomach turning and jarring (even though nothing was shown at this point) that you need to know it was in the movie.

2.) On screen quiet SA.

The movie is about wishing someone fell in love with you against their will. They have sex on screen after it's made apparent that the woman is being influenced by this wish. It doesn't look like SA. It's not violent. It looks consensual. But it's SA and you're kind of aware of it during it.

3.) On screen suicide.

There is a scene toward the end where one character both tries to use a gun to commit suicide then decides to take a handful of pills. The movie depicts this VERY realistically.

Please keep your mind safe when watching this movie. If these are themes that bother you but you still want to see it, I would recommend waiting until it comes out on streaming platforms to watch at home. That way you can pause it or skip the bad parts.
