“As long as we can spend sometime just the two of us for a little bit too.” The kiss to her head just made her smile softly. “I am glad you were here to spend it with me.” She kissed his cheek once more before eating he crepe.

Ann paused for a moment at his words before she felt him take a bit of her crepes. Before wrapping her arms around his neck to kiss him gently. “You do know me pretty well. Thank you.” She could feel the tears brim in her eyes. 

Ann beamed up at that and took another bite. “I do love the strawberries but this is just as good.” She reached out to touch his cheek with a smile. “This is great though. This was all that I needed for my birthday.” 

“You really didn’t have to do this. I appreciate it a lot.” Ann just grinned and took the crepe in her hand. Taking a few bites before sighing in contentment. “This is really good.”
