me (the savant): i’m the savant, here’s my info, there is probably a no-dashii in play because of my information saying only one ability worked abnormally
the dead sweetheart (who bluffed clockmaker even after death because they wanted to become the fang gu): I think that you are evil because you got fang gu jumped
me: I’m a townsfolk and i’ve been using my information to solve everything, i pretended the sage was the artist so they could die because they didn’t take the initiative themselves
sweetheart: the sage died because they tried to kill you and you were the mutant so you became the fang gu
Me: i’ll say it right now “i’m the mutant” (didn’t die)
sweetheart: it’s because now you’re the fang gu, not the mutant
the no dashii: i think it’s the savant(me) because of what the sweetheart said
turns out i was no dashii poisoned and sweetheart drunk and spun my completely BS information into a world where my demon pick happened to be correct and we won
