A beautiful, well-researched homage to the Ukiyo-e artform! 🤩 The sheer detail in the patterns evokes the geometry of the style, but the color scheme brings it back to the TADC theme. The modern bright colors drive focus from Ragatha's round, fearful face (with it's unique splash of purple), through the naginata into the earthy, spindly body of the centipede. This is a really fantastic blend of both historical and modern-age concepts with rich layers of hypnotic patterns

Now this is an inspired piece! The composition of the characters all serve to highlight the sinister, central figure of Caine. As well as their positioning, Kinger and Zooble's main yellow colors blend the two trios partially into the background so that the whole scene funnels the gaze from the sides into the middle. The extensive use of reds for Caine (more vivid than that used in other characters with red) make his presence a dominating one, and that laser-like point for the eye is just the cherry on top. The scene itself is haunting, as we know the context, but from a visual point-of-view it's an amazing homage adapted to the TADC theme 🤩

I giggled at the nurse Gangles surrounding Zooble, lol. Is there any context to that one, or nah?

👏 Absolutely! Everyone else got a real slice of style in the Noir suggestion and Zooble only got a crummy old apron! This is exactly what they should have had, it's smart and stylish - a wonderful design!

this one got a laugh out of me - Gangle is such an irredeemable otaku - but Zooble still seems to like the outfit :) love the faces especially panel 3

lot of dark energy in this one - like straight out of a metal album cover! Pomni's colors really make her stand out but i have to also give praise to the coloring of the fire behind her - it's like a melting prism of some sort! An absolutely amazing attention to detail throughout the page!

🙌the words!🙌 but actually i really like the messiness it reminds me of an old cartoon intro - just that sort of amorphous bounciness that pre-y2k animation had. Also Pomni's faces throughout this are adorable

this is really sweet! i like how they're each being interacted with in varying degrees - Zooble even being the 'listener' when with Pomni

great expressions! and the background getting warmer as the scene unfolds is very apt. I never can choose a favorite ship so any art piece that explores multiple at once is always extra special!!

love the claymation vibe this has - it really feels like an intro to an old show - there's so much detail throughout and everyone's got their own little scene. It's hard to choose a favorite part but Ragatha and the Gloinks implies an off-screen wonder that is really sweet!

the expressions are so cute! especially that tiny tiny blep near the top! oh and the love-heart markings on her that i've only just noticed while writing this are so well integrated into the design 💝 the Zooble chameleon really captures their aura, and Ragatha as a dog is an inspired choice.
