The Gallows Gauntlet's dungeons
Did you know? Several rooms were cut from MediEvil's The Gallows Gauntlet level, which seemed to form a dungeon. The corpses found in these rooms were re-used in the final game's Inside The Asylum level.
Find out more about The Gallows Gauntlet on Gallowpedia, the MediEvil wiki. You'll be dying to read!
The sunken village of the ancient land
Did you know? MediEvil's "The Lake" level was initially one of the game's last levels. It was conceptualised as being a part of an ancient land underneath Gallowmere that Zarok wanted to plunder. Dan would have had to activate crystals in the ancient land in order to cause it to implode, thus putting an end to Zarok's plans.

Enchanted Earth Part Two
Did you know? The developers of MediEvil considered splitting The Enchanted Earth level into two at one point. In this second part, Dan would have been shrunken down by Witches after finding their eyeball, allowing him to enter a tree house in the forest.

The Dragon's lair
Did you know? The Dragon's lair in MediEvil's Crystal Caves level had a very different look to begin with. For example, there was only one hole for the dragon to poke his head out of.

i'm begging y'all to learn how to spell medieval
medieval: the time period with knights, dragons, princesses, food you eat with your hands while watching a joust, that sort of thing
medievil: playstation 1 game about a reanimated skeleton knight defeating a wizard
The Gallows Town pillory
A pillory can be found outside the Gallows Town library in the original MediEvil. Pillories were devices that secured a person's head and hands to a post. They are often confused with stocks, which secured the feet.
The pillory outside the library was removed from MediEvil: Resurrection and the PS4 remake of MediEvil, though Resurrection's headless zombies were seemingly beheaded whilst in a pillory. Visit Gallowpedia to learn more.

Deadmund invades Gallowpedia
Who remembers this PS3 gem? Although not a true MediEvil title, we at Gallowpedia feel it is a MediEvil game in spirit. As such, we are happy to announce that we will be covering the game on the wiki as well!
