i have a few different versions of their timeline so it depends!
if they get together after roger is no longer mayor — they’re not making it an announcement but they’re public / not hiding it. i always imagine roger doing one term and then going slightly off-the-radar and focusing on what /he/ wants which is still a pretty extravagant life but with less pressure from the world around him. i imagine there would be the occasional newspaper article about ’former danville mayor seen with man!’.
if roger is out — which in most of my timelines he’s not — they would most likely be public after a few months of dating. pretty standard but a bit extravagant. francis would be his plus-one to events and roger would love to talk about him.
in the most common timeline where roger is not out and does not want to come out — i think this could end up being a conflict for them. francis, to me, is closeted gay and doesn’t fully come to terms with it until his divorce. i think after he’s gotten used with gay he wouldn’t want to hide because he can finally explore what he wants. roger would struggle with coming out / being public because a) family b) he doesn’t wanna cause a scandal c) he’s very locked in on the idea that he cannot have a relationship in the life he *should* want. so in this scenario, i think it would be a big part of their arc and learning what the other one wants / needs — i believe that roger would eventually do a simple statement about being gay but not putting francis in the spotlight. it would be a slow journey though.
if homophobia is not a factor roger is making his courting of francis visible to all of danville.
i imagine they would eventually always be out to their friends and family, though.

Heinz took another sip of his coffee. He was trying to get a head start on inputting grades in the computer before the first semester finals next week. Yes he knew he had two days after the finals to put stuff in, but he would also have to grade over a hundred tests to. He was setting down his cup when he heard it. Giggling in the hallway outside his classroom.

ok becase I have had a couple of people ask here is a cobbled together ref sheet for everyone's outfits in Three days to fall for you.
First Perry. My main inspiration for this fic was the original animated Disney Cinderella so some of the outfits are inspired from that. The suit stays the same every night it just changes color. the first two nights its teal and brown, and on the last night its silver and teal. His fedora stays cannon colors every night.
Next is Heinz. Ironically Eric from the little mermaid has an outfit closer to what i was envisioning then the prince in Cinderella for the last night. The colors are a bit different with Heinz having a white jacket with purple accents and accessories. the exception being the crown and epaulets(shoulder things) that are gold on the last night. He is not wearing the sash, crown or epaulets the first two nights this is why (spoiler) Perry dose not recognize him as the prince right away.
for OWCA I didnt really have anything in mind except that Monogram would have one of those suit jackets with the buttons on the one side but i cant find a good pitcher on google of it. Monogram would have the same green he wears in the show, Peter would have black and white, and Dennis would have cream and tan.

Chapter 8 of 'Three nights to fall for you' is up. this is the last chapter of my Cinderella fic.
Will our love birds finally reunite or will OWCA get in their way? + small epilogue.
Its finally done. I had so much fun with this one.
