Also frustrating to see how animorphs is still so ahead of the game wrt children's media. Really good stuff, though not easy to get ahold of... I'd love a complete collection but oof. Expensive. Makes me sad I don't have my old copies of random books in the series. I'd like to go scour some used bookstores but I don't think I'll be lucky enough to find them. With the knowledge that a show is in the works for disney+, they'll probably only become more expensive and difficult to find. I know they're republishing them but afaik they're reusing the version of the first handful that got republished in the 2010s and didn't sell well, and they did the bullshit move where they update pop culture references. Do now they're still dated references but to the wrong era. Lovely. Just leave that shit man!!! The time period is part of the draw!!;
