Anti-vaxxers are predominately educated, well-off white women. Women with college degrees and middle class backgrounds! You know why they choose not to vaccinate their kids? Because they think the rules don’t apply to them. Because they believe that their INDIVIDUAL rights as a parent are more important than the well-being of all the children around them. This is a symptom of the middle class, nuclear family dynamic! THEY CHOOSE TO NOT VACCINATE THEIR KIDS BECAUSE THEY FEEL THEY HAVE THE MEANS TO DEAL WITH ANY ILLNESS THAT MAY COME UP.
