Exodus AU is currently discussing whether 5-arcs or 3-arcs is an appropriate power level for Administrator-level games. Ruth is built in 5 arcs, but you could trim her down to 3 arcs by giving her Allegory 0 instead of 2.

No Noble knew why their Imperators were dying, not until the Great Enchanceling was announced; and even then Lord Entropy only admitted to it because there was a mass of Nobles who were agitating to be able to live out their last days without their Imperators being sent to die senselessly. And that mass of Nobles was actually posing a serious threat to the entire program.

(You know how humans can fight viciously when they have nothing left to lose? Imagine that desperation in people who can work miracles.)

So: that’s the world. Enter Ruth.

Ruth Sanchez’s Imperator died early in the Great Enchanceling. Ruth Sanchez actively works to the aim of making there be no senseless sacrifices. She does not always succeed. But sometimes - sometimes she can reach deep into the substance of Sacrifice and wish.

To this day she is not sure whether her wish to that effect, her pouring of all her faith in the world into the fabric of reality, is what created the Great Enchanceling retroactively, or if she merely happened to be at the particularly unfortunate nexus of eschatological necessity (featuring Lord Entropy) and vile acts (also featuring Lord Entropy).

Because Ruth is an Exodus AU character, this character sheet has Chuubo’s arcs on it. I had fun trying to fit Noble powers into arcs that clearly weren’t designed for the purpose; but the overall impression I have is that if I was building her in Nobilis proper, she’d have reasonably high Persona and several isolated Gifts.

Her causality angst is not considered canon for Exodus to the Stars AU in general, but would certainly be an interesting possibility.
