[Update] Unplugged’s Rex has announced his return

Late April, the vocalist told his fans that he would be taking a short break to focus on school. Since his return, Jaemoon has been seen entering Double Kill’s company building and leaving with the other members of Unplugged.

With his return, fans are now wondering if this could mean a possible debut for the group.

DEBUT DEBUT DEBUT DEBUT

This is, more than likely, going to be a rambling of sorts, and for that, I apologize in advance. Don’t worry; I’m not leaving Unplugged, I’m not going on hiatus, nothing of the sort. This is simply a collection of thoughts and sentiments to our lovely fans.

Debuting in this group is extremely important to me. I look at my brother Kisu in Flytrap and see how successful he’s become, and I want to be like him. I want to show off the skills that I have, and I want to continue to grow and adapt and get better, so that I can show you a better side of me.

Unfortunately, things refuse to go as planned. With the seemingly infinite member changes, the delayed and delayed debut, the change of concept, etcetera, I can understand why some fans may have lost interest, or even turned their backs on us completely.

My message here is to say that, even though I understand, I practically beg you to keep your eyes on us. Even though we’re only three at the moment, we’re an extraordinarily talented bunch. We have so many surprises and incredible things waiting for you, if only we are given the chance. We need dedicated fans like you in order to climb our way to an eventual debut, and then to continue climbing and climbing until we can’t climb anymore.

Things are confusing right now. I know none of you know exactly why things are like this, and I don’t know either. I’ve been thinking a lot, and I just wanted to try to set the record straight:

No matter how things change from here, Unplugged isn’t disappearing. We’re going to keep fighting until we debut, and we’ll show the world that we were worth the wait.

Unplugged Revamp: Out With The Old & In With The New?

The blows just keep coming for fans of long-awaited Double Kill group Unplugged. The group has undergone a revamp of sorts, eliminating the dance concept from the group. Because of this change, beloved dancers Venom and Kitae were removed. Along with this, a new member has already been added—a newbie named Chandler takes the position of bassist/vocalist, changing the group to a five-member band-only group.

It is unclear at this point whether this change is a sign of progress, or even more delays.

CONFIRMED on Utopia’s official twitter, the boys (and many great 2K artists) will be performing at the concert. It will be hosted by actress, Hyesu (@hyeitssu ) and last for two days! 

Unplugged announces new member 

Double Kill announced officially on their homepage the addition of Lee Kitae. The position that he will occupy is: vocalist, main dancer and visual.

The news excite all fans from around the world as well as the rest of Unplugged who shared their joy on their official twitter page with a selca of the new member. We welcome Kitae and we excitedly wait for Unplugged’s close debut!

2K’s UNPLUGGED surprises fans and onlookers with songs through busking performance!

Earlier today, fans were shocked by the members of Unplugged setting up near the Han River. Around 1pm on Monday, a small gathering near Hangang River caught the eyes of fans. It took several minutes for the guys to set up camp and start playing around with the crowd. Unplugged performed 7 songs - each a different style by different groups.

During the third song, a few fans pointed out that a few members were sporting new hairstyles despite no information about a set debut date being released.
