Meeting you and spending time with you makes me enjoy my life again after a long time. What should we eat next time? What should I do with you? Just the thought of being with you makes me happy.

Recently I was trying to remember a film I watched a long time ago before I even knew what BL was. As a gay person I did gravitate to series or movie with a gay theme. I wasn't into Yaoi or anything much. Many probably would not consider this film BL and I always thought Lovesick & Addicted were my first BL's as in Asian series. But I did remember the film it was called Night Flight (2014) and it was South Korean.

The story was about 3 middle school friends that grew apart. Most especially Han Ki Woong (played by LEE JAE-JOON) who became a gang leader and was quite violent. However his middle school friend Shin Yong-joo (played to perfection by KWAK SI-YANG) was completely in love with him. When he reveals this later he is met with fists. But even though Han Ki-Woong reacted with violence there was definitely more to it. But there were moments when the two were close.

That moment came when the third friend Ko Ki-taek (played by CHOI JOON-HA) who was mercilessly bullied told the gang of Yong-joo's years long love for Han Ki-Woong so they would turn there bullying to the gay kid. One such time they assaulted Yong-joo I'm what I can only call a rape and they used a stun gun on him which he brought to defend himself unsuccessfully.

When Han Ki-Woong found out he raced to find him and he did on a rooftop. Not suicidal exactly but the bullies took a camera memory card that had photos.

Han Ki-Woong went berserk and he went the school and assaulted students and teachers alike looking for the memory card and to exact some revenge for what Yong-joo suffered (imo) I guess there could be different interpretations.

He got the memory card and was hit in the head from behind with a chair. Yong-joo who had arrived a few minutes before begged for them to call ambulance. They didn't so Yong-joo carried him on his back.

Despite all the violence Yong-joo never really stopped loving Han Ki-Woong.

Yong-joo dropped out if school and opted to go to a mountain school. Then Han Ki-Woong showed true feelings (which I made some gifs of) as he asked Yong-joo not to go.
