"You said that five minutes ago, kid—”

"So I’d be careful, kid."

"Okay okay I get it...I'll stay away from those guys." Why did grown-ups have to ruin the fun for him? It's not like he was going to intentionally provoke anyone, just maybe ask a few harmless questions if he felt the need to. There was certainly no harm in that, was there? 

"You said that five minutes ago, kid—”

"Really? How much more dangerous are we talkin' here?" 

"You said that five minutes ago, kid—”

"You could call it my pride, sure. Can’t promise it’ll be all that safe, though, kid. So be on the look out for anyone grumpy-lookin’, okay?”

"Safe? Pfft, I do dangerous stuff all the time, plus my Uncle Scar's grumpy too so, I think I can handle it." 

"You said that five minutes ago, kid—”

"Okay okay fine. It was worth a shot though. Where are we going anyway? Are we gonna see your pride? Can we?!" 

"Hey Simba. It’s been a while, yea. what’s up?"

"creepy looking house huh.. well… I dunno, it could be dangerous.” She let out a laugh, bopping her friend on the head “of course I wanna go! do you even have to ask, silly?”

"Thought you'd be in on it." he smirked as he tried to duck the oncoming hand that bopped his head, to which he didn't succeed. "So did you wanna think of a plan of how we're gonna ditch Zazu this time, or are we gonna have to use one of my awesome places again?" the boy teased. 

"Hey Simba. It’s been a while, yea. what’s up?"

"Not much but...I did find a creepy looking house the other day when I was walking home from school. You wanna go there on Halloween and see if any ghosts are there?" 

"It's..okay." he answered. "I forgive you. But...if Uncle Scar really did do all those things then I'm happy that someone was there to stop 'im." the cub smiled. "My name's Simba, what's yours?"

"You'd actually be surprised at how many people don't know it. What's your name though?" 

“Alright, Simba, I’ll play your game.” As if Riku could say no to ‘adventure’.

"Alright! Wait...how'd you know my name's Simba? I don't remember ever seeing you before." 

"Yeah but I bet you don't know where this one's gonna lead us to, besides it'll be fun, like an adventure!"

"You said that five minutes ago, kid—”

"I remember you asking for five more minutes. And now you’ve asked for it a second time. I let you have the first five, but now it’s time to get up, kiddo.”

"I don’t have the strength to move I’m so tired. You might have to carry me…"

"C’mon,this is me we’re talking about, remember?"

“That’s kind of the problem, Simba. It’s you.”

"...What's that supposed to mean?" 

"You said that five minutes ago, kid—”

"Did not. I’ve still got five more minutes, but maybe you should go check your hearing while I’m still sleeping."
