CHANGE YOUR GOBOS!
Sorryβ¦ Personal pet peeve, but I gotta say it. You lighting designers that use moving fixturesβ¦. you need to work it into your budget to change gobos. I am tired of seeing the same patterns (and knowing their names). The same can be said for Projection designers, but to tell you the truth I barely ever see the same stuff being used. This is largely due to the fact that content is easier and sometimes cheaper to make. Not everyone has a dichroic/acid etching facility to make gobs, so I'll give you that. Still, try investing in your own stock of custom gobos just like a projection designer keeps their own library of content. End of rantβ¦ Thank you. Cheers, Drew

It addresses the full-parallax needs for any viewer around the able to view it. Here is the Wikipedia page talking about parallax and how it gives us depth of vision.
