Do you think Fraggles have eggs kinda like Trolls? (Eggs hidden in hair like a nest) Because canonically there are baby Fraggles
Besides that I can't think of another way for them to be born :/
I've actually had a couple discussions about this with folks in Fraggle fandom and a few ideas have been tossed around, with the common threads being: not traditionally, magically, and almost always from eggs. tbf that last bit is technically canon, but I think calling any lore in the first 12 episodes (AKA pre-new Gobo puppet design) of the OG show - which is when that lore dropped - is dubious. Just 'cause they were still kinda testing the show out. But anyway, faves of mine:
A Fraggle egg is formed from a deeply emotional duet of Fraggles in love
Fraggles as weird... furred amphibians that lay eggs like frogs, which are fertilized by the magic of the Rock itself
They're little cabbage-patch babies, literally. They grow deep in the cave system and when they're ripe little babies, that generation migrates to Fraggle Rock, sea turtle style
I could see the nest of hair, tiny eggs thing too though!
Been enjoying doodling human Wembley lately and then I got hit with Mudwell/Wembley feels (Again) so I've been figuring out how I wanna draw Mudwell as a human..they make me so ill awughh :')

Two words: GOBO/WEMBLEY!!!! It can be either the OG or BTTR I just wanna see a cute, fluffy cuddly fic with them!!!!

Gobo/Wembley is my favorite ship for Fraggle Rock, across the board, so I was more than happy to write for them! A little triple drabble (300 words) for ya. Post-canon, OG series... I realized I've like, never written fic for the OG Gobo/Wembley and that's nuts, so I'm glad it's now been fixed! lol
Gobo was starting to drift off when he heard restless rustling from Wembley's bed, off above. He smiled sympathetically and poked his head out from his own bed's little cove.
“Can't sleep, pal?”
There was so much fondness packed into that last word. There always had been, but now that Gobo and Wembley were a couple, ‘pal’ had become a term of endearment they now only used for one another.
Wembley leaned out from his bed. “Yeah, I can't sleep… Or, I mean, no I can't? Uh, I'm not sure which sounds right. But I'm sure awake, Gobo,” he sighed.
Gobo chuckled, sitting up. “Well, how about you come sit with me for a bit, eh?”
“But I don't want to keep you up, too, Gobo…”
“Awh, don't worry about it, Wembs. I'm offering, aren't I?”
After a moment's more hesitation, Wembley climbed down and came to sit beside Gobo. The two cuddled together, Wembley nuzzling his head against Gobo's chest.
“Is something bothering you?” Gobo asked.
“Nahh. Sometimes it's just- hard to stop thinking and start sleeping!”
Gobo patted Wembley's back. “I getcha. Whenever I'm preparing for my next expedition, it's hard to settle down at night. All I want to do is keep planning, or heck, just get going!”
Wembley let out a soft laugh, his head growing heavier on Gobo's chest. “Exactly… But you know, I feel like I could fall asleep real easy being like this.”
Gobo nuzzled the top of Wembley's head. It meant a lot to him that Wembley felt so comfortable, so safe, with him. More than he knew the right words to say.
But even if he didn't have the words, he could be there. He eased himself down to lie in bed, keeping Wembley held close.

FIRST OF ALL the prompt is totally not too vague! lol Don't worry about that at all, this was a great prompt for me to go off of.
But aww, can I just say how happy this ask made me? Like, when it comes to exploring variety with Fraggle Rock, YOU GET ME. And Fraggle is such a hyperfixation for me, but I don't really feel like part of the fandom because my focus isn't always the same as most of the fan base, y'know? Plus... I, alongside my partner, got into Fraggle Rock in either... 2018 or 2019? There wasn't much of an active fandom at all then, for any version of the show - just remnants of old fandom for the OG, which also focused on mainly just two ships, though then it was Gobo/Red and Mokey/Boober... So when I occasionally put myself out there in Fraggle fandom here on Tumblr, I LOVE when I bring up uncommon ships/headcanons/etc and it's met with excitement/positivity - it doesn't always happen, but when it does it's really great!
Anyway I'm rambling... What a fun idea, I love this! I'm extremely weak for OG Red and Boober, as a ship or otherwise, and Red/Sidebottom works really well. So, here's your triple drabble, (300 words), I really hope it's the kind of thing you were looking for... It ended up basically being Red introspecting, (and not totally understanding how a system works because that felt very Red Fraggle TM), which is one of my favorite things to explore with her.
“Hoo hoo hoo, this was fun! You should make Boober let you out more often, Sidebottom!”
“Ohh, I wish it were that easy, Red! I'd just love to spend more time with you, hon!”
Red has been going over this conversation since she left Boober's cave, the words playing in her head over the dripping of stalactites and the distant chatter of the handful of Fraggles still awake at this hour.
She'd spent a long time hanging out with Sidebottom today, and boy, he'd seemed even happier than usual over it - which was really saying something!
And… He'd called her “hon.” Boober did that all the time, and Red thought nothing of it. But coming from Sidebottom… It felt different. The way he talked about spending time with her, in general– It was so wistful.
Could Sidebottom have a crush on her?
Those kind of feelings… Red usually just rolled her eyes when they came up. But now it was directed at her; she couldn't just shrug it off. Well. Maybe she could, but she probably shouldn't.
She also wasn't sure she wanted to… Sidebottom was fun! He was silly and cool and they had a great time together! Was that enough?
Red wasn't sure, so she tried to imagine herself with Sidebottom that way - holding hands, sitting close, cuddling up to him… It didn't seem bad, but– Did it seem good? Did it seem like something she wanted?
Ugh, Red was in over her head. She didn't know anything about this mushy stuff! She wasn't sentimental - not when anyone was watching!
And she certainly wasn't going to acknowledge, even to herself, that picturing herself with Sidebottom had occasionally brought her mind to picturing herself with Boober. That was even more confusing--So it hadn't happened, she decided. Simple as that.
