("Why don't you mind your own business and just leave me alone already!?" Wembley snapped suddenly. He let go of Wembley's arm, taking a step back in surprise. Wembley's angry face nearly immediately filled with shame as he placed a hand loosely over his mouth, seeming just as shocked as he was by his outburst "I-I, oh, I'm..I'm s-sorry, Gobo..! I dunno why I..Oh, I shouldn't've yelled like that, I'm sorry..!" Wembley looked as though he might burst into tears "I-I just..didn't wanna..u-upset you, but..Oh, I-I'm such a jerk..!" Wembley exclaimed, beginning to tug roughly at his hair with both his hands. That was something Wembley had done since they were little, whenever he was really upset and overwhelmed. He tried to help Wembley not to do it anymore, hating to see him hurt himself, and in recent years Wembley had been getting better about it, but there were still moments like this occasionally where he fell back into doing it again "Hey, stop it. It's okay, buddy.." He said, reaching out to grab Wembley's arms to stop him, but he hesitated, not wanting to overwhelm him even more by touching him "I forgive ya, eh. Yer not a jerk, Wembs, I-I was the one bein' pushy about it. I understand ya gettin' upset.." He reassured, his hands hovering uncertainly in front of Wembley "Just..stop doin' that now..please?" He asked carefully, feeling awful when Wembley's face crumpled into a guilty expression, his eyes shining with tears. Wembley stopped yanking at his hair, but he kept his trembling hands on his head, as if he were shielding himself, his fingers still curled around his blonde locks "Hey, it's okay..C'mon let's just go sit down and breathe for a minute now, eh.." He suggested softly, finally touching Wembley's arm as he directed him over to the tunnel wall, where they sat with their backs leaning against it. They were silent for a while, except for Wembley sniffling quietly as he stared at the ceiling, blinking rapidly to try and hold back the tears that were still welling up in his eyes. He sighed, unsure how to get Wembley to talk to him about the problem without seeming too forceful. He didn't want to make Wembley feel even more anxious "..S-Sorry.." Wembley whimpered, so softly he almost didn't hear him "Hey, yer fine, don't apologize. I forgive ya for yellin', okay?" He reiterated gently. His chest ached when, instead of looking reassured, Wembley began to cry openly "N..N-Not just..th-that.." Wembley choked out, staring out ahead of him instead for turning to look at him, tears rolling down his cheeks. He was about to question what Wembley meant when he took a shaky breath and continued "..'Cause I..I-I'm..b-botherin'..you.." "No yer not. I wanna be here for you." He said firmly, hating the continued implication Wembley had been making that he was somehow burdening him by having feelings "Whatever it is that's upsettin' ya, I'll always be here to help ya no matter what, y'know.." He said earnestly, placing his hand gently on Wembley's shoulder. Wembley didn't respond, though it seemed like there was more that he wanted to say, and began wiping his nose with the back of his hand, sniffling loudly "..I-It's really not a big deal.." Wembley said after a moment, his voice cracking, as he twisted the hem of his shirt around )
