anyway liz had no choice but to be That Girl at midtown bc her mom literally used to look like this

ok quick thought b4 i hop off for the evening ! one of the hardest things, if not the absolute hardest, for liz about leaving midtown is leaving betty. i think their friendship was so, so special to liz & so sacred. betty was someone she could always confide in, & though liz is popular & seems to float between many groups, i would say betty was always a constant ? like ... if liz ever had to envision what, exactly, a soulmate is ... i think she found that in their dynamic. constantly supporting one another ( even w/ vastly different interests ) & showing one another that they care, particularly though their respective love languages... & the thing is, when liz leaves she tries her hardest to maintain that dynamic but it honestly hurts liz to do so? & in turn she just ends up shutting her ( & everyone else ) out.
