the line of ants rights itself after a second and he looks up at the newcomer. “looks like they’ll be okay after all!” the edges of scott’s mouth quirk up in an understanding smile, knowing by the words that the offender hadn’t meant to offend at all. “ah, yeah, bees! the better cousins of wasps and yellow-jackets.” he almost laughs, a member of an inside joke known only to himself. “they’re neat. i trust them. people who run away from them are … a little silly, if i’m being honest. just let them do their thing!”

“aw, no, come on,” there’s a frown on scott’s features as he watches a line of ants get disrupted on their way back to their colony. he knows the world isn’t very kind to the effort of ants but his empathy for them after spending so much time working and living with them is pretty high. “don’t bother them, they’re not bothering you. look, see, that one’s carrying like, half a cookie. that’s super impressive, isn’t it?”

“What the Hel is a Fortnite and why are Midgardian kids so obsessed with it?” Bjørn was genuinely curious, though he had no intention of actually playing it. “It looks…boring.”

“I believe you. You’re the expert here.” Soa admits with a smile as he picks up a few pieces of paper off the ground to get it away from the grass. He truly wished more people cared about the environment like they did.

“ i’m glad you think so. “ someone has to. 

“The plant life is strong, making it through harsh weather. Their home will be trash free soon enough.” Soa knows that it’s important to keep the world clean — they only have one home. They need to try and keep it. 

If there was anything Soa was passionate about it was keeping the environment clean, he knows what it looks like when pollution gets out of hand. “I hate seeing the town like this.” He says as he starts to pick up some of the litter on the grass. His gaze turns to look at the other. “It’s important that we take care of each other — which includes the planet if you ask me.” [ @fvllofrain ]
