How I learned to love the finale of Good Omens for what it is (and maybe you can, too).

It got so long I had to find another home for it, but if you're feeling sad, confused, lonely or even ambiguous after the finale, maybe reading some hopeful analysis will ease the way. I haven't written an essay in 12 years but this is what this show has done to me so here we are.

This essay is truly brilliant and moving. Not only the analysis itself, but also the writing style. I almost cried because - like the "Behind the Scenes" - it revealed all the love that went both into the show and into the fandom. Marvelous 😍

You are allowed to feel however you’re feeling about the finale. HOWEVER - Attacking people for having a different opinion is ridiculous. Sending death threats to people for liking the ending is deplorable. Attacking cast and crew on their social media because you didn’t like it is entitled at best, downright rude at worst.

Explore your grief however you need to, but don’t take that out on others. Grieve with them, not against them. There’s no comfort or peace to be found there, only more pain.
