When you make signs at a protest your signs should be readable from a distance, especially if your protest is meant to be seen by people driving past. I saw so many signs today that I couldn’t read until I was right next to them either because they were tiny or people had written whole paragraphs on them. Our protest was meant to get the attention of people driving past to do weekend shopping. None of the drivers were able to read those little signs.

One or two short sentences. Maybe a drawing or picture as well. Big font. Big sign. More effective.
