Walking from the Chai Condos to the Gardens seems like easy thing for Hiccup now that he has transferred his dragon to a safer area. Koi is lesser known with dragons of any kind, he needed to get a job here too. Koi is peaceful than Berk and he knew he wasn’t even kidding about it.
"Hey Toothless!" Hiccup said to his friend in a cheerful tone. "I brought you something!" Bringing a basket of fish everyday, especially Salmon is a huge risk for the viking to endure. Cats has to follow him through there, making him a vulnerable target.
"No bud, there’s no eel. I promise." Hiccup assured him as the dragon continued to look suspicious and he growled for a while. He has been really extra careful with hiding Toothless, otherwise people may panic at him.
.“E-Eh..?”
"Someone’s here! Oh great.." Hiccup was dumbfounded when both dragon and rider turned around and saw a girl staring at Toothless. "Easy, it’s not what you think it is." Hiccup rambled on, Toothless’s mood seems to be ruined. More humans? Fun.
{❀}—; Having lived in such an ordinary city, with ordinary people Futaba never really questioned whether the creatures in fairy tails and other stories were true. All she knew was that of a regular busy school, never had she been exposed to anything like magic, would you call it that. Until moving to Koi, it was normal. However, something about this seemingly peaceful city made her wonder. She knew it was probably silly, and usually whenever she asked herself questions about it immediately they would be dismissed.
{❀}—; After all, things like that couldn't exist. However... It seemed she was mistaken. Finding this almost hidden garden was like a dream. Ah, that was it. She must have been dreaming right now, right? Otherwise... It was impossible. Futaba found herself speechless staring at the creature in front of her. It was like a giant lizard, or something like that anyways. Hearing a voice her eyes shifted to a boy standing near the creature. Did he know about that thing? The other certainly didn't looked shocked seeing it. More so, uneasy.
{❀}—; Brown eyes shifted back over to the creature. That was what the called, a dragon... In stories at least. It's not what she thought it was? Well what the hell did she think it was in the first place. Making sense of the situation was futile. "I—...I must be dreaming... Yeah, that's it. I'm dreaming..." She said to herself in a soft voice. It felt like she had turned to stone, so shocked she couldn't even move. "It couldn't be.."
