{❀}—; Koi was  a beautiful city like no other Futaba had ever heard of. The tree’s were nearing their end at this time of year, even so the scenary was beautiful. The shops located were homey and welcoming. It was peaceful here. Everything seemed so untroubled, if only the world was always like this forever. She herself knew this restfulness could not last for ever. A time where she could just be herself without feeling singled out may soon come to an end. After her middle school experience, the last thing Futaba wanted was to repeat the loneliness she had been through. It was decided upon laying her foot in Koi, she was going to reinvent herself.Â
{❀}—; After her first year of middle school, the only boy who Futaba ever thought was an exception was gone. She didn't like boys, not since she was younger. As soon as boys began paying attention to her due to her looks and quiet personality, the other girls too took notice of this change. Growing jealous of Futaba's looks, and cuteness as a whole eventually Futaba found herself alone. Even her best friend had left her. That was why she would leave behind ever single part of her cuteness and become the exact opposite of a cutesy girl.
{❀}—; Walking down the street after purchasing some groceries for home. Futaba seemed to have ventured into a part of town she had yet to see. Although she felt rather uneasy here. Belladonna Block, Futaba had heard a few rumours about this place but never had she been here herself. It was still day time, but there seemed to be some unpleasant people here already. From what she had heard at night time at this place was a little dangerous around that time. Feeling a tad nervous she tightened the grip on her grocery bags. Suddenly she overheard a few boys behind her, possibly students talking. Glancing behind they seemed to be looking right at her. It sent chills down her back and a drip of cold sweat formed by her temple. You should ask her out one said to another. Reaching into her bag she pulled out a piece of bread and crammed it in her mouth, followed by another. Eating the two pieces of bread so quickly she nearly chocked on it. Eeh... Maybe not another voice said. They left. Feeling relieved the girl sighed.
{❀}—; It certainly was good she had that bread there. Boys weren't attracted to a glutton, so acting that way might just save her life. "That was close..." She muttered, reaching into her grocery bag again to pull out a water bottle to help wash down the bread she forcefully crammed in her mouth. Futaba noticed there happened to be another girl walking beside her she hadn't noticed. D-Did she hear any of that..!? If boys took an interest in her, other girls may not like her. That was what Futaba had learned. "U-Um..." Futaba glanced to the girl, she was pretty cute as well actually. This wasn't really the best place for two girls to be out in the streets, especially if it was going to be dark soon. "Listen, if you could keep this between us I'd appreciate it..."
