I've had trouble sleeping since I was a kid. I used to manage it with much heavier stuff and some very bad habits, but these days it's mostly melatonin--unless a really bad bout of insomnia hits.

FRIENDS.

I started putting nail polish on my fingernails because an ex said it's how she stopped biting hers, and it's a bad habit I have sometimes. It usually works, or else sometimes I just chew the polish off first like some sort of bonus layer. I'm sure the amount of nail polish I've accidentally swallowed is probably nothing compared to the microplastics swimming around inside me. You know, I heard we ingest something like 50 lbs of microplastics in our lifetimes, although we poop most of it back out. Still weird.

Um... the same as I am during the day, probably? I usually have to work kind of early so I'm not typically a night owl. When I have insomnia, though, I usually read or catch up on scientific journals and listen to music and stuff like that. Sometimes I'll doom scroll, but it's not really my thing. Social media is weird to me.

I'm a liiiittle bit messy. Not, like... Complete slob level. But I am so the person with the 'clothes chair' in their bedroom--I do try to hang it all back up every so often, though. And I know there are times when my laundry is overflowing right onto the floor because I haven't done it in a week or whatever. And the mail, if I don't sort it right away, absolutely piles up and ends up absent-mindedly set on random surfaces til I force myself to actually deal with it. So yeah, not the worst, but I think my place might look a little too 'lived in' if I'm not careful. It's a forever work in progress. I don't, like, leave wet towels on the bathroom floor or anything, though. That's bacteria city.
