Some character concepts I did for my internship at Juggler Games in Warsaw

The Fisher King is a shadow of what he once was. Once a well-known nobleman, he made the mistake of falling in love with a siren who enchanted him with her beauty and her gentle nature. When he wanted to marry her, she declined and requested he first became a powerful man, a king even. She left him, just like all his loved ones had before. To become the king he had to learn the art of dark magic. But a mere human can't learn this kind of magic. So he made a pact with a dodgy local ocean deity. In order to gain the power he so desperately wanted, he gave up his humanity and turned into a dark creature. Unbeknownst to him it wasn't the dark magic that turned him into this creature but his rotten personality and heart. The dark magic was just an amplifier.

Landscape concept: Floating rocks

This is a character concept I came up with. Her name is Sputnik, she’s an elf and a space pirate. She’s the youngest but most clever mechanic of her crew. She has a sharp wit and an even sharper tongue but she is a very loyal and and supportive friend. She loves cats and adopted a stray the captain wouldn’t let her keep at first. But Sputnik has a way with words and could convince the big boss rather quickly.
