And as always, they see discussion about sexuality and gender as this big scary boogeyman when once again, it is really fucking important at that age! People DIE due to discrimination and thinking they aren't good enough, that there is something deeply wrong with them. Conservatives want children thinking like that, conservatives want children to die.
