cameron cook is done such a disservice by the writers. it infuriates me to no end that she’s intentionally underwritten and not given an identity outside of the white!! men she sleeps with. cameron is a prop, an object that these white men use for either sexual pleasure or career advancement. im incredibly perturbed by her story, or lack thereof.

boots riley has such a fascinating vision. sorry to bother you was an incredible watch. i was so moved by it. i love boosters is a thematically relevant, maximalist adventure. even with its third act failures, i still greatly enjoyed it.

since vince staple’s new album is coming out i was thinking about his previous projects. rpbmh is one of his best albums, sonically and thematically. the way he conveys stories reminds me solange’s when i get home. his storytelling is so rich and beautiful.
