I really dig the unsettling and creepy nature of the original prank calls so... Here they are!

TS1 Prank Calls (Updated 02/26/2021)

Every 6 hours there’s a 5% chance you might get one of the TS1 prank calls by none other than Mystery Sim. 

I feel making it a text notification instead of a blocking message like in TS1 fits better in TS2.

The odds and hours are as usual tunable in “ld_ts1prankcalls_controller.package” via SimPe

Small last minute edit: Changed the hours and odds a lil bit as it was a bit too frequent.

11/20/2020: I had forgotten to blank out the other languages... So you might have gotten stuff about being late to work or missing work instead of prank calls if you didn’t play in English... Whoops. This is now fixed. (Thanks to @nixedsims for reporting)

I’ve been working since last year on defaulting all of EA’s ep/sp food. I’m improving textures etc (+ making them all vegan >:-D) and through this I’ve found some things I feel the need to share:

1. one of EA’s “foodplatterappetizer” has dog poo in it:

2. EA accidentally wrote “ingrediants” instead of “ingredients” on the mac n cheese texture:

3. when working on my mail delivery default (which I’m hopefully going to share soon) I noticed that there’s English on one of the letters:

I mean I knew it was bad, but that’s just plain sad..

5. there’s a texture for a single pea:

in what situation is this even being used?? I have so many questions

idk why I found this so funny. I mean, EA know how to repository stuff, why didn’t they just keep the bowls as a separate group and then referenced them to their texture? Why choose to do it this way?? So that’s what I did bc it bothered me. Unfortunately I won’t put it up for download just yet, it will be shared when I’m done with defaulting all of EA’s food. I have more fixes to share..

So here it is! What I’ve been working on for the past few months! 

This mod attempts to add Story Progression into The Sims 2, kind of like in The Sims 3.

Current features include:

Aging: Inactive Sims will age up and die of old age.

Job Progression: Unemployed adult Sims will get jobs based on their interests and personality and progress in those jobs.

Relationship Progression: Inactive Sims will make friends, get in romantic relationships, get engaged and eventually married.

Pregnancies: Inactive Sims will get pregnant!

University Progression: Inactive Sims will go to university, pick majors based on their personality and interests and graduate.

Gender Preference: Inactive Sims will roll gender preferences.

Aspiration Progression: Inactive Sims will have varying levels of aspiration score.

Finally had motivation to grab all the files off of this ages old cd that came with a gamestar magazing (i sadly dont own anymore) and upload it to sfs.
