​Is it just me, or did Roxie wake up today and choose absolute violence? I’m currently torn between being impressed by her stamina and whispering, "Ma’am, please, we have things to do." She is clearly in the mood to be breathless, shaking, and center-stage. Honestly, having this much tachycardia before lunch? Rude. 🙄

​Now, I could blame the espresso machine (my caffeine addiction and I are currently in a very committed, very toxic relationship), or maybe Roxie is just manifesting a little spontaneous drama for the fun of it. 🤷‍♀️

There are SO many of us in this community and it boggles my mind.

My theory is something along the lines of the physical outside features of people don't interest us, but when you get beneath the skin, what's underneath (literally), that's where we find that attraction.

It's deeper than just finding a muscle sexy; it's how your partner's heart can speak to you in ways words can't. How a heart can't lie. How intimate the action of listening to your partner's lifeblood beat centimeters away from your ear.

The thought of hearing your partner’s or even a close friend’s life and someone whom you care deeply about flowing through your ears, it’s.. it’s honestly one of the most comforting things in the world for me and i always appreciate the little moments where I get to do this,

I often find myself resting on my partner’s chest and relaxing to the beat of their heart after a long day or an anxiety attack. Knowing I’m loved and comforted in a way that doesn’t require words (and god am I bad at using those).

it’s also fun hearing those same kinds of people getting excited from any flirting and teasing I do. Edgar Allen Poe was into something about the heart being really fucking telltale to one’s thoughts and emotions, and it’s so nice when my partner is able able to tell the exact same things from my own heartbeat.

Im also a fucking biology nerd that’s absolutely enthralled and transfixed by both my heart and anybody willing to let me listen to theirs. And nothing pleases me more than admiring somebody’s heart in action, be it audibly or on an ECG screen/echocardiogram.

Oh yeah! I’m more in the grey ace range with my sexuality so, demisexuality aside, my libido mainly runs on sexual experience and not physical attraction. So, indulging in kink and fetish play rather is where I find enjoyment in things and get the adrenaline flowing. Not wanting to do some weird shit with somebody who looks hot.

Staring at bare chests and fantasizing about what someone’s heart is doing under their ribs for me, not unless it’s a partner or close friend. Barring those two exceptions, I’m more focused on making your heart race and maybe skip a beat or two through any means necessary (that don’t cross any lines— be it safe words or outright common sense safety).
