Honestly I'm really sad that the manga isn't getting alot of attention but I love the untold origins sooo much I want more people to read it!! Plus the art style is so cute. Ranpo is so cute and I'd be a Fukuzawa simp if it weren't for Kunikida lmaooo.

Untold Story

Here’s my attempt at a translation of the BSD third light novel, Untold Story of the Founding of the Detective Agency. This rambling post talks about the what and why. Done partly for practice, but mostly out of love for the incredible original.

The book has two stories, both pretty much standalones. The first, shorter one, tells the story of the ADA planning Atsushi’s entrance exam. No plans to translate that one, but it is not tied to the main story. The rest of the book is Untold Story itself.

The light novel contains two separate stories, “The Daily Lives of a Certain Detective Agency” and “The Untold Story of the Founding of the Detective Agency,” and an afterward at the end. I think maybe anyone wanna ask me why I’m doing this eventhough my english still far from good, well, to be truth I too want to read this manga but I can’t read straight before writing it like this… (like I always said, my japanese still far from good or average, I can’t read kanji afterall) so posting this, it’s just like passing through only

ok before I gonna write endlesly, this time is about Kenji took a frog (and believe me this really ordinary and boring) like chapter 17 (relax, if you forgot the story they mention it below)

Like always, I’m not from japanese or english or american so don’t hope too much in my english because it’s just my second to third language

That Zebra reminds me of the donkey that was painted zebra in Cairo, Egypt. That took quite a bit of redrawing. I’ll update the blog in a bit. I think Ce-la and I took exception to this chapter (we usually leave Slug with the Wan translations) because it’s really sweet, and we couldn’t leave out Mushi’s first appearance!
