Season 1: Precious cinnamon roll. Innocent baby-faced astronaut who literally never has any idea what is going on. Helps the crew of Moya because he needs friends if he's going to get through this, physically and emotionally. Wears his old IASA uniform just to have something from Earth to cling to.

Season 2: Starting to get more comfortable in his crazy new life. Wears an outfit more fitting to that part of the universe. Has earned the respect and admiration of his shipmates. In the beginning stages of going insane from both the constant stress of his situation and the literal supervillain in his brain.

Season 3: Now considers the Moya crew his closest friends, and losing some of them is starting to break him. Finally admitting to his feelings for Aeryn, but loses her to...himself!? Is really starting to crack under the pressure of being chased across the universe, his unrequited love, and the guy in his brain who keeps giving him shitty advice. His pop culture references don't even make sense to him anymore.

Season 4: Broken. Has lost too much. The unwilling carrier of the most powerful and potentially destructive knowledge in the universe. Finally gets the one thing he's wanted more than anything else and is forced to give it up. Is willing to hurt and kill to protect the people he cares about. Falling apart at the seams and relies on Aeryn to hold him together.
