Are you a part of the lgbtq+ community? Have you ever had a formative relationship with an older queer person? If yes, I would love your help! I am conducting a research project on the complex manifestations of queer mentorship. I am looking for queer participants ages 18-30 to take a brief anonymous survey on their experience with queer mentor figures (meaning any relationship with an older queer person who helped of guided you as a younger queer person) whether that be good, bad, helpful, hurtful, or both. I seek to understand how queer mentorship manifests in the lives of queer youth in order to shed light on the positives and negatives of these relationships. Hopefully, this process could aid in improving queer mentorship as a practice and in turn help queer youth and queer community as a whole.
