Something that's not discussed enough about fatphobia is coming from the other end; being too skinny. I have a high metabolism, adhd, and depression, so it's always been incredibly hard to gain and keep weight. I am proud to be over 175 at this point, I usually hovered around 160 before. Once I gained the slightest amount of fat, though, I was hit with comments about 'the forbidden jiggle' and 'couldn't stay skinny forever could you?' and these comments literally caused me to relapse and lose weight again. And it's just like, if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. We learned this shit in Kindergarten.
