"Those things kill, y'know, let me bum one." He said is as one sentence as a leather clad hand held a steady flame for soap to light the tip of his fag.
"Mmh like all good things." He hummed. Didn't think about the thing in his blood that burned like nitroglycerin and made his heart want to burst in a fiery, self-contained implosion of viscera and smatter. Couldn't stop thinking about it. He needed to reign himself in. Didn't want to. Couldn't stand the consequences if he didn't.
He came out here to get away. To force the wreched thing in his chest to stop trying to escape him. Blasphemous thing. Sinful creature. Devil spaw-
"Just goin blind as he sun, are we?" Ghost sounded amused, so very him. His heart fluttered again. His chest squeezed to stop it.
"What, blue an yellow don't mix?" Soap fake pouted, played it up to amuse. He's good at that.
"Don't like green eyes." There was truth in his voice. Honest. A little hint of the real man with real opinions. His chest might actually implode. Or explode. The feel the same when you're in the middle of it. The ember's burned nearly down to the filter and he doesn't even remember smoking it. The burn in his lungs he was looking for tells him he did, that's all he needs, something else to take the larger dividend of his attention. Away from crushing expandung force of thing in his chest.
"Blue?" Because he's a glutton for punishment or something.
Soap's anything but pure, he'll be burning in hell for the simple fact that he's himself but he's got another minute at least so he pays it no mind. Another fag would help, probably, but he doesn't. The nicotine is stronger in the pack Ghost picked up for him when he was getting his own vice (menthols). The cloud of it (the nicotine or the feelings) does nothing to shut his mouth, but he's addicted to the heady burning feeling of smoke in his lungs. Maybe it's why he let the thing in his chest fester into a raging inferno. Couldn't get enough of it.
