wrote a librarians fic in one feverish sitting posted it and my laptop immediately crashed as soon as it was posted. amazing
totally bullshit theory from mr "only's seen one episode so far" but i think it makes sense if the library or some version of it was the one to imprison merlin in the first place (i don't think the library as it is goes back that far (i wanna say library of alexandria was implied to be first? man i need to rewatch. also obviously the very first librarian/guardian were judson and charlene, but like, there's could be some version of it or proto-librarian/guardian or something idk. also "ancient egypt" is an enormous time frame, some of which would be after arthurian legend but im pretty sure a lot of it is before/during also but im infamously bad at timelines and dates so idk. actually the more i think about it the dumber i feel arthurian legend is for sure after much of ancient egypt right? am i fucking stupid? i'm probably fucking stupid.) and the guardian sacrificed herself to become the tree he was sealed in. no wait wait wait what makes more sense: now charlie sacrifices herself to become the new hawthorn tree when they reseal him. it presumably doesn't stick for one reason or another. sorry im just spinning out over hawthorn trees representing strength and protection and love and shit like that. idk my brain just hit that idea and went HEY

(switching to librarians sideblog lol) ive never ever been to comic con before i just happened to get insanely lucky this time through a series of events, and it was really cool. i chickened out on asking a question though bc i got in line and then felt like i was going to throw up 😭
but yes it is absolutely such a good show idr exactly when i got into it but it was pretty early on (i don't think all of s1 was aired yet, but several episodes were? my aunt showed it to me) and ive loved it ever since. leverage too! also warehouse 13, which does some really similar stuff but with some fun differences.
i really enjoyed the five minutes of the episode i got lol! i'll get the rest eventually, just hope it's sooner rather than later.
and idk if i'll ever actually manage to formulate/articulate The Essays but currently they're spinning in my head at lightspeed. i have so so so so so so many thoughts.

og: my original favorite was ezekiel, and he still is, but i latched onto flynn hard on a rewatch. also, jenkins and cassandra are both dear to me. (not that i don't love eve and jake, ofc, but, you know.)
