i used to have frequent reoccurring nightmares as a child where i would be stalked and kidnapped and put in a cage (presumably to be killed?). at some point these dreams began taking on a graphic sexual dimension that never lost their nightmare quality, and i would wake up orgasming and terrified. weeks and weeks of this, cumulatively. i think this had a negligible effect of my sexuality growing up.

i have a very vivid memory of one dream in particular where my kidnapper pushed chicken wings through the bars of my cage. they were cold and had mostly been picked clean except for a few scraps of meat, and the sight and feel of them was so viscerally disgusting that i stopped eating bone-in wings after that

a lot of bad trans politics on this website (and beyond) comes from non-women who sincerely believe that having been assigned female at birth inherently gives them a greater authority over womanhood, femaleness & feminism than trans women

sleeping after variable doses of mushrooms has been deep and restful, but trying to sleep while actively high sucks. i dozed off for about 90 minutes and lucid dreamed for the first time, but before i got very far away from my body a mosquito-like entity began buzzing around and poking at my eye in a way that was more annoying than threatening. it knocked me back into my body and i woke up.

i always thought it would be sort of like. i don't know, inception, or the amazing digital circus where i'd be able to manifest things & change my environment at will. but it was more like, i laid down thinking about the day and the beautiful patterns i was seeing. and as i was laying there, i felt like i wanted to shift my pillows a bit and check my phone before REALLY going to sleep, and in attempting to do this i realized that "i" had moved without my body. i don't remember closing my eyes, but i suppose i must have. the transition from wakefulness to dreaming was entirely seamless. i sat up and looked down at myself and thought 'this all feels very normal to me...?' and then the mosquito came when i had determined that i'd like to try flying or going outside.

It's deeply ridiculous to act as if peripheral/semi-peripheral states which have been imperialized by the core still cannot ultimately act as regional enforcers of Western imperialism... Certain people on here act as if they have never heard of the phrase "comprador bourgeoisie", perhaps because they've been reading more pro-Western liberal university textbooks than theory
