Nina Hopkins

TW. Eating disorder, and abuse

This is a re-write of the OG Nina not the 2021 version!!

In my version Nina grew up as a middle class kid in Manchester, travelling over to America often as she is a beauty queen

Nina's mother is obsessed with image, living her fantasy of being a beauty queen through her daughter from a young age (She has been putting her into pageants since age 2)

Her mother was incredibly narcissistic and viewed Nina as an extension of herself, and praised her often

Nina was spoiled if she won, and was ignored if she didn't

Nina's mother enforced rules that lead to Nina developing an eating disorder (Anorexia)

She was diagnosed with Autism at age 10 which her mother made sure to hide from everyone, as her daughter being autistic didn't fit into her ideal vision

Nina was diagnosed with BPD at age 14 , and was put on a high dose of medication - this was also something her mother hid

At age 15 she passed out (due to a lack of food) in the hotel prior to a padgent, and was attacked with a knife by another competitor

The attack left her with scars along the sides of her mouth (that looked like a smile) and over her nose

she was admitted to hospital and her mother blamed Nina herself

Nina got out of hospital, and was bullied heavily

Nina's mother got re-married and Nina's (younger) step brother Chris attempted to defend her

Nina was bullied and compared to "Jeff the killer" for her scars which sparked the obsession with Jeff, she admired his story and how he stood up for himself, killing his abusers and parents (obviously the online story was a lot different than the real one especially in forums where people idolised him)

She was re-admitted into hospital after her bullies approached her with a knife, which she wrestled off them, and killed two of them, the third then pulled out a gun shooting her shoulder (luckily missing the main arteries)

Nina was re-admitted into hospital, and then proceeded to run away where she met Jeff

Sally Williams/Dawn

TW's are the same as her OG story

The story of how she became a spirit stays the same, however in my version she meets Slenderman right before she dies, and he bonds their souls, allowing Sally to have more power than a regular spirit since he was unable to save her properly

Slenderman then takes her in, caring for her, and starting the Bruce Wayne levels of an adoption problem (he's a dad in my version IDC if its not cannon those kids need a parent!)

Sally is a relatively happy girl who likes spooking people and helping other young kids (by being a friend to abused children around her age)

She was unable to interact with her friends however found some children who went through abuse similar to hers could see her... which lead to her being a "imaginary" friend to them

Sally died at age 9, and stays that age as a spirit

She loves dolls, and since she can't physically interact with them Slender helps her summon the spirits of animals, however she is only strong enough to summon rats and mice (which she doesn't mind they make good tea party guests)

She views the other creeps as her siblings, and Slender as her dad (which she does refer to them all as such)

Sally gets along best with Nina out of the girls due to their shared love of all things girly and Nina's extensive knowledge of dress up (being an ex-beauty queen) Sally looks up to her heavily and often copies the older girl

Sally somehow gets along best with Jeff out of all of the boys, Jeff feels very protective of Sally after learning of her backstory, and takes time to play with her - even though he says he hates it

She is quite close with eyeless jack since she views him as a safe adult (similar to how she does Slenderman)

EJ is seen as a safe person however Sally is usually scared of adult men (unless she has known them from when they were also kids like Jeff and Ben etc. who came to the place as teens)

TW's same as the OG story, child abuse, and child labour mention

PS. I do NOT support the OG creator (for more on the incident and the things the OG creator has done please refer to this thread here)

I wouldn't actually rewrite too much, more just change his motivations and the circumstances of which he becomes a demon

In my version Issac would have been a small boy who in the 1800s obviously would have had to work

When Issac was at work he was abused by his boss with a cane and was mutilated by the machinery on numerous occasions

After being abandoned by Issac Jack became more monochromatic, and more 'evil'

After the trauma Issac became a killer, killing his boss, and other abusive men in the area

Jack found this out, and came back to Issac, saying how proud he was, which made Issac realise he wasn't exactly imaginary and the two worked together

Issac died at age 32 due to a lung condition (which he acquired at the factory) which left Jack devastated he blamed the factory owner, and decided he wouldn't allow any other child to be harmed by any man

He, instead of killing the kids he visited (like in the OG which tbh never sat right with me) he visits kids with abusive male figures in their lives and kills said male figure.

TW abuse, mentions of psychosis, and hallucinations

Liu and Jeff in my version are twins (with Jeff being 10 minuets older, yes Jeff does bully Liu about this - obviously)

They both grew up working class but after a job promotion their father received they moved into a more middle class area

Their mother was narcissistic and always focused on image, and the way they presented themselves, thrilled with the rise in social status she intended to make sure the kids would fit in, and seem as if they had always lived this life.

Their childhood was rocky with their parents always fighting, and with Liu being overlooked (because of Jeff's behavioral issues) it lead him to basically raise himself, and take care of his brother

Liu was always the "good kid" and was decent at school - not the worst but not the best, getting a 'B' average with a few 'C' s in the mix

Once Jeff began having hallucinations at age 10 he attempted to help him, looking all over the internet for answers and advice

He tried his best to assure his brother, and help with any episodes the other may have but it seemed like a fruitless endeavor when their parents did nothing - not wanting to get diagnosed and be labelled as the "family with the psyco kid"

Liu developed early stages of depression at around 11 and 12 along with paranoia as Jeff became more violent due to the psychotic episodes, he never blamed his brother but he couldn't help but have anxiety

After the accident he visited his brother in hospital until he was finally let go, and came home

Jeff proceeded to have another psychotic break the night he arrived home, scarring himself, and killing their parents before attempting to harm Liu

Liu fought back, and Jeff ended up leaving

Liu began having gaps in his memory and strange symptoms after that but tried to ignore it

Until he couldn't

Waking up in the woods with a note attached to his forehead from a boy named 'Sully' he spent weeks theorising before he blacked out once more, and received a note from Sully explaining what was happening

Sully

Same Tw as Liu but also the implications of religious trauma

Sully first woke up the day after the incident, face scarred, and in copious amounts of pain he haphazardly stitched himself up

Sully had all of Liu's memories from before Sully fronted for the first time, however holding his own opinions on the whole situation

The two couldn't be more different yet more alike at the same time.

Sully doesn't front all too often however when he does he fronts for a while

He is the only alter in the body that the two are aware of and he does try to keep Liu up to date with what he does, the gaps in memory working both ways and Liu does the same for Sully

Sully is much more charismatic, and a charmer than Liu while Liu is reserved and quiet, Sully is more charismatic in nature and doesn't fail to use it to his advantage, being more manipulative

Sully has much less issues with killing those he believes to be lower than himself

However he does have some serious insecurities, mainly imposter syndrome

His imposter syndrome is ramped up by the fact that he shares a body with Liu and he believes he is a parasite taking Liu's body and that Liu is too nice to him, and should have exoticized Sully long ago (the exorcism idea coming from an older woman in Liu's church which Sully makes an effort to attend because Liu would be devestated otherwise, Liu had told the group of his "issue" while not going into detail, and the group was mostly supportive however one woman really got to Sully - he couldn't even bring hismelf to hate her as he deep down believes she was right...)

Sully dresses much more alternative than Liu (who dresses as Sully puts it "like a depressed libarian") but does still have a scarf of his own that he wears (similar to Liu's except his is more customised)

Sully is much more of a 'hands on' person getting clothes and re-vamping them more often than not since the two make very little money, doing odd jobs and living mostly in an old van that Sully stole

Jeff

TW abuse, mentions of psychosis, SH and hallucinations

Obviously the same start/upbringing as Liu however Jeff posed much more of an issue to their mother who yearned for the "all american perfect family"

Jeff had behavioural issues his entire life, and instead of help was left at the mercy of his abusive parents who either yelled or hit him

Jeff internalised this and obviously just acted out more, a subconsious cry for help form a child who didn't know why his parents didnt love him

Jeff often had "temper tantrums" making him violent and reactive to the abuse

Jeff ended up having hallutionations at the age of 10 and began to develop parranoid schitzophernia which ontop of his already undiagnosed ASPD (anti-social personality disorder) was seriously taking a toll on his mental health, not understanding why this was happening and unsure of what was and wasn't real

When he was good, he was praised heavily, yearning for that affection even in his black out states especially from his mother whom dispite the abuse he loved dearly (Mama's boy)

Despite being a FTB baby (failure to bond) he did end up bonding later at age One with his mother

He never bonded as a baby with his father and never ended up doing as a toddler or child making, he resented his father for the abuse he put them through, including the abuse of his mother (which while his father had attempted to hide from the boys Jeff bared witness to at a young age)

He was attacked by bullies at age 12 and pulled a knife on them, which lead to Liu taking the blame and luckily he wasn't sent to a detention center as they had previously threatened with Jeff (due to his prior instances of fighting)

Jeff was then later attacked again at 13, having being attacked with a knife before bleach was poured onto him, and one of the bullies lit a match

Jeff spent a while in hospital stirring the memory around in his mind

Once released he didn't deal well with the sudden change and had a episode which lead to the death of his parents and his attack on Liu which he stopped after Liu fought back, snapping him out of the episode

He left the home and ended up burning down the homes of each of the bullies, and skipped town with crudely stitched wounds that he had cut along his face

Ben Drowned

TW suicide mention, cults, death

Ben in my version is more of a mix between the ghost and virus versions of him,

being that the AI virus B.E.N took control of the OG human, making them sacrifice themselves (drowning), and taking their body as a offering for a physical form to possess, although it holds the consequence of having more human emotions, the OG ben's memories

But hey at least he's now got a spirit body that can leave the computer confines!

He took the ghost body into the computer and made some HEAVY customisations to - making the spirit body look more like the model he uses to portray himself on the computer.

he does this by taking the body into the computer system where he is most powerful and editing it to his liking

I like to think the more cult following he has, the more powerful, and once he has a physical form in the real world it ramps up like crazy making him more of a demon rather than just a spirit or virus yk? however he isnt like fully fledged as a demon... if that makes sense

with a spirit body he can go between the currents of any electronic, and still go into the normal/outside world.

However as his cult following increases his physical manifestation does as well, granting him the ability to interact with the world more than just the average ghost (unlike Sally who is merely a spirit and can only interact with those under slenderman)

While becoming more human did dull down his need for "evil" (however you may interpret whatever he was doing prior to all of this - I like to leave that up to the reader) he isnt fully innocent, however he is much more emotional than he would have been before as just a sentient AI/virus having to now deal with the human condition. He still has his cult and still does kill people but its less calculated in a computeristic fashion and more human than it was before, and hes much more human now than ever

Since becoming more human he has become more of a chud tho I won't lie, that man is pathetic (he always was but having a wider emotional range really ramped it up)

I already have ideas for a full re write of Nina where I flesh her character out to be less of a Jeff copy and I have some ideas for Sally (I don’t really change much of her story but rather just some headcannons of her post-death/as a spirit like how I mentioned her in the Ben one)
