You know with all of this negativity and hate I sometimes encounter on wiz101 with all of the schools so I’m gonna list some reasons why I think each school is great.

Ok I’m gonna start with ice cause ice is my ALL TIME fav school and I just love being an ice main oh my god ok.

Ice: Ice wizards are BADASS. I don’t see that many max ices around so as a max ice, I gotta rep my school. Ice wizards got the best health and universal resist, and despite what many people say, they can hit HARD. Not to mention that they got really good aoe spells and late game spells. For example, Frost giant. Great for mobs because even if you don’t kill, at least you can stun them. Penguins is probably my favorite ice spell because the more pips you have, the more ice damage you dish out. It’s really similar to tempest and it’s really useful for boss battles as well as mobs. Not to mention that when the team is in a pinch, the ice wizard can switch from offensive to defensive and provide tower shields. Also, another great ice spell is abominable ice weaver because not only it gives off really good damage, but it gives you a 75% tower shield. A one of the best ice spells for ice PvP honestly. God, I can go on and on with how ice is a great school, but I’ll make a separate post for that.

Life: Another school that is slept on. Honestly I think life wizards deserve a lot more respect than they get. They can both heal and hit, yes you heard me. With the right gear, life hits extremely hard. Where the hell would your team be in the hard dungeons without a healer? Spells like Satyr, Pigsie, and rebirth are great when your team is low on health. Also with the right gear, forest lord and Lamassu are great ways to dish out MASSIVE damage to mobs. Even single spells such as Gnomes and Hungry Caterpillar hits pretty hard too. Not to mention there are spells that can dish out massive damage AND heal you. Also, life wizards have GREAT resist and health so they can actually last in battle. God, thank GOD for life wizards.

Storm: Despite being a popular school, storm still gets a lot of hate so I’m gonna tell you why it’s great. Despite not having the best health, I’ve seen storm wizards with pretty decent resist with the right gear. Storm wizards are a great addition to your team because they are the best hitters in the game. The damage and critical chance they got is INSANE. Great for both mobs and bosses. Glowbug Squall and sirens are both amazing spells for late game. If there’s a critical there’s almost guaranteed an instant kill, and if that doesn’t work then bugs removes ALL blades from the enemy, and Sirens remove two blades and cast a -50% accuracy. Oh yeah and storm titan and tempest are amazing too, cause storm titan stuns all enemies and tempest dishes out damage depending on how many pips you have, as I mentioned earlier with penguins.

Fire: While the fire school doesn’t have the best health much like storm, they still got decent resist with the right gear and they are EXCELLENT hitters. Not to mention that they are the god of over time spells, such as fire dragon and rain of fire. Their critical chance is also something to marvel at. Did I mention that sun serpent and raging bull are excellent aoe spells for bosses AND mobs?? Also, fire probably has the best set of aoe spells along with storm and ice. Meteor strike is really efficient for mobs, dishing out massive damage for a low pip chance.

Death: Another popular school, however I can see why death is so popular. My death wizard is in currently krok right now and he’s so much fun to play with. Ok ok ok why do I think death wizards are absolutely AMAZING??? Well, they are really good tanks, I’d say the best tanks in the game along with ice. Not to mention that they are decent hitters, and they got the second best health in the game. And if that is not cool enough for you they can HEAL themselves too with most of their attacks, making both harvest lord and call of khrulhu absolutely broken cause they dish out damage to ALL enemies. Oh so that death wiz is almost dead?? Well they got a critical on call of khrulhu so they regain most or all of their health back. Also it is an excellent school for wizard101 beginners because it is a one of the easiest schools to learn, however it does take skill late game, and that is what I love about the death school.

Myth: alright you know what??? Myth is fucking SLEPT on. SLEPT ON, ok??? Myth is an amazing school, try to change my mind. Most people don’t even wanna deal with myth cause their early game is challenging, but you know what?? It’s worth it late game, and here’s why. They got all around good stats: health, resist, damage, crit chance. Not to mention that their late game spells dish HEAVY damage and they have a numerous amount of stun spells such as Medusa and Basilisk(not to mention they give out a lot of damage too). Also too many shields?? Myth’s got that covered with mystic colossus and earthquake(and they are both really good aoe spells!! Woah!!). Want a low pip aoe spell that does good damage?? Myth’s also got that covered with humongofrog. Also I personally love the myth spell animations so that’s also a huge reason why I LOVE myth.

Balance: Balance, I didn’t forget about you like everyone else does don’t worry. And YES, you have your balance classroom. In Krok not to mention, AMAZING!! Balance is an underrated school and not a lot of people use it, but as the name of the school suggests, they are pretty balanced with stats so they got all around really great stats. Not to mention that they got the best arsenal of blades and traps, where would all of us be without our elemental and spirit blades??? Not to mention that they got really awesome spells such as ra and nested fury. Not only does balance have all around great stats and spells, but they also are great team helpers; always there to blade the team when you’re low on blades.
