that which resembles the grave but isn't

cath looks like the first girl smurf hired to have sex with pope (that she only hired because he was in love with julia) and smurf was punishing julia because she and baz are in love and smurf needs everyone’s loyalty to be to her first and foremost. and she continuously alienates julia which forces julia to leave (after smurf’s encouraged her drug habit since childhood) and when julia eventually OD’s and her son (that she had with baz) comes to live and be dependent upon smurf, pope (who has just gotten out of jail) has to learn his sister is dead which he blames himself for because he never stuck up to smurf on her behalf and the whole time he’s still in love with cath (who is now the second person to choose baz over pope) and baz takes pope to a strip club for his birthday and pays a stripper who looks like julia to have sex with him and then smurf convinces andrew to kill cath because smurf is threatened by her and her hold on baz, and she makes pope do all her dirty work because she’s raised him like a feral guard dog. cath knows she’s in danger and also that pope is in love with her so she comes on to him in an attempt to save her life but it doesn’t work because his loyalty to his family is airtight and he thinks cath has betrayed them. he kills her while they have sex and then hides the body. but baz thinks it was smurf who killed cath and also that smurf has been lying to them about their cut from jobs his whole life so he steals from smurf and smurf retaliates by taking a hit out on him. then later smurf hires another woman to sleep with pope except this time the woman looks like smurf. and then smurf eventually gets cancer and tries to convince pope to kill her and when he doesn’t, she tries to shoot him in the head 🫩
