Hello!!! So in the case of Storm, Phantom, and Aurora's parents: Aether is their only "named" parent. Storm is older than Phantom and Aurora and their half-sibling. In my own lore/AU, their other parent is just a random ghoul (unrelated to the band) that was summoned or assigned to this task! In the lore/AU, this happens pretty frequently.

For Cumulus her other parent is Aero!

Sunshine and Swiss are siblings in my lore/AU, too... their parents are Crust and Ifrit (most of my "shipping"/pairing is based off vibes more than anything else).

And then, the Chain/Omega kits altogether: Haze, Stratus, and unnamed baby who probably had to be taken away and raised as a bottle baby cos its siblings were too greedy

I believe Ghouls is creatures, as evidenced by my blog. Anyway, have some creature ghouls from work.

My hc for the Multis is that they're just ghouls who don't align with any specific element— they're sort of outliers, and they only show up in "captivity". All Multi ghouls were born in the Ministry, but not all ghouls born within Ministry walls are Multi ghouls (if that makes sense?).

Oh! Very good question and very cool oc backstories!! Uuuummm I never really sat down and made myself do a think about ghoul diets and such, but I personally think ghouls are either carnivorous or slightly omnivorous. I think maybe someone who was turned into a ghoul could potentially realize they can't (or don't want to) eat certain foods they ate before. As for biology, ghouls in my mind and my head canons have secondary genders/sexes and don't exactly ascribe to human gender and sexes. So it may be that if forced to become ghouls, they could undergo like... a second puberty of sorts-- think "presenting", like A/B/O I guess. That's what I would liken it to, at least, if that makes sense.

For babies, I think it depends on what you want to do! I like to think baby ghouls come in litters, that they're tiny cos I think it's funny and cute. But maybe humans turned ghouls have bigger kits or way less than a natural ghoul.

She does have horns, but they're a bit too large so the Ministry often has them trimmed/filed down. She is unsuitable for the public (big mean lesbian) and has been tasked as a security ghoul. She may or may not have littermates! Haven't thought about them much.

One of 'em is that when they're born, kits are literally just like. newborn kitten size. I.e.:

Very small. Very littole. They're born deaf and blind, though they have longer prehensile tails. No teefers either, except for their milk teeth. They're about the size of a palm, give or take, and need a lot of attention and care, hence the reason why ghouls have pouches like marsupials to carry all of their young at once.

Kits use their little tails to hold onto things, specifically one another. If their dam leaves, kits will instinctively lock tails so they don't lose or wander too far from their littermates. They know their littermates, as well as their sire(s) and dam(s), by scent.

They don't make much noise beyond little chirps, meeps, or squeaks. Sometimes, if they're really bothered, they'll do a bunch of little hisses- like kittens! Naughty kits are often put in the pouch, where they can calm down and take a nap.

At first, they just sort of crawl around blindly. They're very wobbly and don't have very fine motor skills. Sometimes, they'll topple over-- and when they do, the kits are bound to maybe have a little tantrum. When their eyes and ears start to open they begin to crawl a bit better, though still uncoordinated.
