They came for the canapes

But I don’t really like canapes,

So I ate nothing.

Then they came for the excess sugar,

But I’m a bit health conscious,

So I ate a banana.

Then they came for the unemployed,

But I was self employed,

So I turned a blind eye and moaned about tax.

Then they came for the tax credits,

I’d recently stopped claiming them,

But I was paying off an over payment from when I was in work and claiming them for one fucking week, that cost me two grand,

So I ranted a bit on twitter.

Then they came for the young housing benefit claimants,

But I’m old and struggling, and something was on the telly,

So I laughed at Kanye West being a bellend on twitter.

Then they came for the asylum seekers,

But I was having a breakdown,

So I took it out on my UKIP supporting relatives instead.

Then they came for the NHS,

And like the rest of us I retweeted some stuff and posted some things on facebook, and moaned about TTIP and called David Cameron a cuntgibbon or something on twitter, and felt like I was doing something.

Then I went to visit my dad, and remembered how well he’s been treated by the NHS over the last 15 years of his life, with heart operations, and Parkinson’s and having to say goodbye to him three times, and then thinking about the births of my children, and my mum needing a heart operation, and fucking eveything about the NHS that these fucking tory cunts want to destroy.

And still did fuck all.
