I spent most of my day today playing Pixie Hollow Rewritten, which feels surreal to say even after playing for so long. Putting how much this game means to me into words almost makes me feel silly, but Pixie Hollow Online truly shaped me into the person I am. My memories of playing this game are so formative and I’ve carried them with me ever since it closed. Pixie Hollow Online was what got me interested in Disney Fairies and fostered my love of fairies in general. Even though the game has been closed for 13 years I genuinely think about it daily. I play its music around the house, I have art from the game on my bedroom walls, and I’ve used variations of the name Carrie Tuliptwist in countless usernames.
