JOKE-OGRAPHY:

In this Bible story (Matthew 14:13-21), a crowd follows Jesus and listens to Him preach, then it gets late. The disciples ask Jesus to send the people home for dinner, but Jesus tells His disciples to feed them there. The disciples complain that they only have a little bread and fish to share, not enough for the crowd (of 5000 men and an unknown number of women and children). Jesus assures them, and so they share, and by the time everyone's gotten food, they have more bread and fish than they started with. The story speaks to the super-abundance of God's generosity to those who follow Him. By generously sustaining the crowd through hunger with supernaturally-multiplied bread and fish, Jesus points to how His Father sustains His children through all things with something beyond earthly food.

In this cartoon, a man and woman among the crowd discuss Jesus's miracle of multiplying the fish and bread. The man suggests two possibilities for how the multiplication could have been achieved (not an exhaustive list, for sure): first, Jesus might have created more fish and bread from nothing, crafting the food from newborn atoms of His own personal conjuring; or, second, Jesus might have simply teleported EXISTING fish and bread to the people. The teleportation theory is absurd, of course, because it's as fantastical as the creation theory, but just replaces the creation theory's divine power with magical stealing. Nevertheless, the woman imagines the teleportation theory through two scenes where fish and bread are stolen from their natural habitats, leaving those that loved them to cry out in anguish.

The teleportation theory was formally debunked in the Council of Nazareth (8 AD) by Jesus and His neighbors when Jesus accidentally multiplied His vegetables but no other kids on the block were found to have had their portions reduced.
