What will the young heroes of UA do when their strongest ally turns against them?

Todoroki Shouto was born to be a great king. As a little kid he exceeded everyones expectations with his incredible powers, as a teenager he had proven to be a fierce warrior and as a young adult he had become a strong yet compassionate leader, finally earning the trust and respect of his people. 

The future of the Kingdom of Endeavor looked brighter than ever before, but luck had never been on the Crown Prince’s side and, apparently, it would never be.

What will the young heroes of UA do when their strongest ally turns against them?

Did someone say Vampire Todoroki Aesthetic?? yeah, me neither but i gotta get over this artist block ASAP. Let’s all take a moment to thank the Kpop gods bc Irene & Seulgi’s “Monster” mv gave me a tiny drop of inspiration to draw something.

I don’t have a little story this time so what do you guys think? Would Shouto keep on feeding on Midoriya’s blood until he kills him? Maybe he’d leave and never come back to save his life even though they’re in love... or would he try to transform Izuku into a vampire knowing he could die in the process? Idk, you tell me!!

Ngl this year, and specially the last few months, has been absolute dog shit and yet i never felt so proud of my art and blog before. I mean it when i say i felt that like knowing you guys actually liked my dumb little aus and concept art was what drove me to keep on drawing and creating content. 

Now im talking to YOU (yes, you): i'm glad you found this blog and you are a nerd like me too and i hope you are doing ok. I’ll make sure to keep putting out content that you like, that makes you wonder and, hopefully, brings out your creative side too this  year. SUMMER VACATIONS ARE FINALLY HERE!!

I PASSED ALL OF MY CLASSES holy shit can you believe it?!?!?! I’ve been studying, reading and writing essays non stop for more than two weeks but now i’m done and i have 3 months to rest and draw and watch series and play video games... and dye my hair bc the color faded and i’m blonde now O.o

First i’m going to rest tho! My 2 week reading/writing marathon wasn’t very good for my health so I’ll take it easy and won’t push myself to do more than i can handle. I’m super exited to have time to draw again but slow and steady wins the race :3

Kirishima wants the mean blonde boy to be his Rider and Bakugou just wants the annoying red horned idiot to fuck off. Will the young dragon be able to tame the monster rookie?

Being chosen by a Dragon to be their Rider was the greatest honor, but being the first Southern Dragon Rider in more that six centuries? That was on a whole other level and yet Bakugou Katsuki refused the young dragon’s proposal without hesitation. Who in their right mind would give up such an opportunity?

The Monster Rookie of UA was known not only for his incredible power but his absolutely horrid attitude that drove everyone away just like he liked it. If he thought he could do the same with Kirishima he was sorely mistaken though. The Red Horned dragon was incredibly resilient and stubborn and from the very first moment he saw Bakugou, his heart told him he was the one and only rider for him and not even the King of Endeavor himself could change his mind.

Yeiiii i’ve wanted to introduce this two for a long time! the concept of Kiri deciding to spend the rest of his life with Bakugou just because he thought he was cool is so fucking funny to me. Draconic Nymphs can take decades to chose the right Rider for them yet this idiot didnt even doubt to chose Katsuki on the spot. what a legend.

I know i introduce weird shit without warning (AGAIN) and im sorry but bare with me that i have a whole post about the different kind of nymphs, spirits, monsters and humans coming up this week. You guy told me to go wild with the world building so now i hope you ment it bc damn i build the fucking world lmao.

Baby bois Tododeku are coming back as soon as i make a master post for the Royal au bc it’s getting very hard to link all the posts in the description. I know i’ve kept you guys waiting but there’s a lot of content now so stay tuned both for the next part of First day Shenanigans and more context on Hatred possesed Shouto.

Bonus: a proposal, battle fields and an eternal bond.

Link had always fought to protect something but now that everything is lost, he is ready to avenge.

Ganondorf was alive, the Master Sword was broken and Zelda was dead. Maybe Goddess Hylia had chosen the wrong hero after all.

The triforce of courage saved him instead of Zelda and the triforce of wisdom had latch onto the only living thing close to it when it lost it’s original holder. Now Link found himself with two thirds of the Legendary Triforce and yet he had never felt so powerless. 

He didn’t know a thing about magic or godesses. He was a soldier, a warrior ment to weild a sword that now was broken without repair, just like his body and spirit. 

If there wasn’t nothing left to save, what was a hero ment to do? 

Avenge.

Avenge the fallen Kingom of Hyrule. Avenge the dreams that the survivors of the Clamity had for a future that will never be. Avange Zelda’s death and all the hope that died with her. 

In the short time he has left, Link would avenge everything that could’ve been.

This is kind of inspired by Links original concept art of him being older and half machine mixed with some zelda theories i watch on youtube. The idea that maybe the chosen hero can fuck everything up is really cool to me cause it’s less of “Lets fullfil our destiny!” and more of “OH SHIT what do we do now??”. I mean, sure it’s sad, but it makes my creative side wonder!

What do you guys think about it? Would link keep fighting? What would he do with 2 parts of the triforce? What would happen if the master sword breaks?? I hope i can make your creative side wonder too!

“I’ll save you as many times as you need me to.” Midoriya had promised Todoroki in his vows and he was not about to break his word. 

When Izuku heard the familiar sound of ice forming, a wave of relief washed over him. Shouto is alive! he thought to himself, but before even being able to turn around a powerful flap from Kirishima’s wings sent the hero flying through the air as icicles sharp enough to pierce the strongest of armors formed in the place he had been standing just a second ago. 

Disoriented, Izuku managed to stand up and distinguish the familiar silhouette of his fiancé in the fog. It should've been reassuring, yet a sudden rush of electricity took over his body, ready to fight. Something was wrong, Terribly wrong.  

“Hello my Darling.” Shouto greeted him, amused. His deep voice sounded unnaturally raspy as if he were sick. Then the man stepped out of the fog and Izuku’s cursed himself for being right. 

The Prince of Endeavor, Beacon of Light for his people, was covered by Hatred. In just eleven days the infection had spread like wild fire, completely taking over his left side and Izuku could see the dark, putrid crystals already making their way towards his ice half.

Clearly out of his mind, the prince attacked them. 

“I’ll save you as many times as you need me to.” Midoriya had promised Todoroki in his vows and he was not about to break his word. 

The Chosen Hero silently apologized to his fiancé for what he was about to do and charged towards Shouto with all his power.

I’ve been away for almost a month and the first thing i post is angst pfffff im sorry guys lmao. This is supposed to take place wayyyyyy after the engaged ceremony comic, when they are all well established knights and Tododeku were getting married. Like, literally they were getting married and All for One went like no i dont think so and kidnapped Shouto. He already had a Hatred infection tho... ah here i go rambling again, did you miss me guys? lol

I kind of forgot how much i love drawing for the royal au... college is really messing with my mind but summer vacations are so close!! As soon as im done with my first year i’ll go full creative mode in all my social media so lots of bnha and mash ups and cat and meme videos and i even want to stream so we can draw together and talk! GUYS PRAY FOR ME TO PASS MY EXAMS

Bonus: the expressions but with my very insightful commentary.

Prince Todoroki Shouto, the boy who was born with everything.

“The Ice Prince” they called The Crown Prince of Endeavor, Todoroki Shouto, both as a compliment and an insult. Some thought a cold and calculating leader would guide the nation to victory, while others believed a frozen heart would only end up in another cruel and insensitive King. The Great Kingdom of Endeavor had seen a fair amount of those so their apprehension was more than justified.

Not much is known about his early childhood since King Enji isolated the Prince from the world since the day he was born, but some say that he used to be a lively kid. Not many were inclined to believe that since Prince Shouto was known to be an expressionless and reserved man. A solitary soul that remained silent most of the time and spent his free time alone, either reading in the library or playing the piano in a deserted wing of the palace were he knew he would not be disturbed. 

How could a cheerful child grow up to be such a cold teen?

It is said that one fateful night, when the youngest of the Todoroki siblings was barely five years old, there was an attack in the Queen’s wing of the castle. The Ice Nymph managed to fight off the intruders but was left in such a bad shape that she had to fled up north to heal in the Eternal Glaciers of the Frigid Mountain and never came back to the south. Thanks to her valiant effort to protect her son, Shouto survived, though the nasty scar around his left eye was a reminder of the tragic accident. From that day on, the Crown Prince refused to use the Todoroki’s Fire ever again.

Shouto’s Ice Spirit grew strong and graceful just like his mother’s. Even negating the Fire of his ancestors, the future King was indisputably both a fierce warrior and cunning strategist in the eyes of outsiders. They didn’t need to know that his heart felt numb, neither how it became harder and harder for him to feel anything at all as time passed by or that his Soul felt incomplete without the Fire he despised.

Non of that was enough to make the Prince break his oath of not using the Todoroki’s Fire Spirit though. After all, he had accepted long ago that happiness simply wasn’t meant for him. The twisted satisfaction of rebelling against the destiny his father planned for him was sweet enough to keep him going even after more than a decade of struggling to fight against his own nature. 

“Revenge is a dish best served cold”. Luckily for the Crown Prince of Endeavor, Ice was his expertise.

Lots of rumors around the Todoroki family and most of them are wrong but oh well, the truth behind Shouto’s change will be revealed… some day in the future when my hand heals and i can draw again lmao

Doing moodboards is fuuuuuun! I’m thinking it would be a good way to introduce the characters in a way that isn’t super boring for you guys but also give context. Honestly, everything in the moodboard is important but did you see the dress???? omg its so beautiful i cant-

An Unexpected Proposal and Arranged Marrige Ceremony Mood Board!

More Royalty AU goodness!! This visuals apply for both the marrige proposal post and the beginning of part 1 of the mini comic. I love the way the pink and pastel colors aesthetic clashes with the chaotic “oH SHIT DID I JUST ACCEPT TO MARRY PRINCE SHOUTO??!” energy of the situation.

I think i’ll upload more moodboards like this in the next few days bc i accidentally injured my hand and i want to give it time to heal properly before finishing the projects i was working on (a.k.a. a Royal Notes about the different species of the fantasy world and the next part of the mini comic). i have a lot of them that i make just for myself to have as visual reference so there is content to work with if i decide to keep making these. 

About that, I have a lot, and i mean A LOT of Royal AU content drawn down on paper and i thought it would be fun to make a little video sharing some of that stuff with you guys. I dont usually post traditional art here but most of my creative process happens on paper and just a tiny bit of it ends up making it to these posts. I have so much world building and aesthetics that will never see the light of day that maybe it would be cool to talk a bit about it if you are interested. I’m not sure about it tho but sounds cool :3

Midoriya might not be a relationship expert, but being fed up with your arranged marriage the day same day you got engaged probably isn’t a good sign. [Part 1/?]

Izuku knew being engaged to royalty wouldn’t be an easy task, but he didn’t expect it to be absolute chaos. 

His Beautiful Fiancé doesn’t give two shits about the whole situation, the Todorokis (a.k.a. his future family in law) are a complete disaster, everyone they met were overwhelming and constantly overstepping their boundaries, their schedule was so tight that they barely had time to rest before going to the next event, King Enji followed them like a predator waiting for the right moment to jump on it’s prey and, to top it all, he had been called ‘Broken Hero’ by a fricking child. 

The sun set and by the time the “First Dance of the Betrothed” Ball was about to start he was exhausted. Maybe that’s why when Prince Touya sarcastically welcomed him to the Todoroki family, Izuku’s anxiety and concern turned to deep annoyance. Seriously, he wasn’t it the right state of mind to deal with anyones shit.

The carefree Prince left amused, soundlessly skipping through the castle barefoot, feet ignited in blue flames and humming that little melody of his as if this whole situation was just another Wednesday for him. tHe FUcK?!

After a shitty day Midoriya felt like any little inconvenience was going to send him over the edge but, luckily for everyone, he was very good at managing his emotions and he could totally survive the rest of the night without blowing up, right?

…. right?

My baby boi has officially passed the point of not giving a fuck so shit is going to go down in the next entry. Thats right, this is part 1 of a mini comic of 3 or 4 short chapters?? depends if i add a Touya perspective interlude thingy idk but yeah this is part 1

Sorry for making you wait but I’VE GOT BIG NEWS FOR YOU NERDS about the future of this au! I’ll keep the art + a few paragraphs format for most of the posts BUT, in case a moment is really important for the story or characters, I’ll make a short comic out of it with several parts. Bonus: Tododeku sharing a brain cell to avoid Enji.

Broccoli looking boy panics and fucks up without repair because he got too distracted by beautiful local nymph Prince to form any rational thought.

Present Mic had been ecstatic the whole week prior to the engagement ceremony, after all being the one to officially announce to the world the union of two rival kingdoms happened once in a life time, so when his proud smile faltered for a brief moment before calling Princess Fuyumi forward Midoriya’s heart leaped in his chest. Did he do something wrong? He still wasn’t familiar with all of Endeavor’s traditions, which, by the way, were extremely weird and finicky and ok maybe Prince Shouto might’ve been right when accusing him of not caring about them but he wasn’t completely right either because it wasn’t that he didn’t care it’s just that, objectively speaking, they made no sense and-WAIT did Present Mic said Todoroki Shouto?!

Sure enough, while he zoned out, the Crown Prince himself had taken what was supposed to be his sister’s place by Izuku’s side. Looking back, he should’ve realized what was going on right at that moment, but his dumb brain was too busy admiring how ethereal Shouto looked under the morning sunlight, pink cherry blossoms behind him complimenting the red and white of his silky looking hair that flowed in the fresh spring breeze and-WAIT did he proposed just now?!

Caught off guard, Midoriya looked around for help just to find everyone smiling encouragingly, waiting for the answer that he felt he was taking way too long to give, which only made him panic even more, so, without thinking about it twice, he found himself agreeing to marry the boy who hated his guts.

Happiness and relief showered the cheering crowd as they hugged and kissed and clapped for the soon to be married couple. The deal was sealed and there was no going back.

Midoriya fucked up. 

Royally.

BACK TO THE ROYALTY AU BABYYY I mention they “accidentally” got engaged in this post and i figured you all deserved an explanation of how it happened. Yes, at least from Deku’s side, it’s bc Shouto is way too beautiful and, honestly, I can’t blame the boy. Why did Todoroki do it tho?? We are going to learn information from Midoriya’ POV so you’ll have to use your imagination… for now  >:) 

i didn’t plan on keeping this up but you all have been so supportive and sweet and there are people who are genuinely exited to know more like whaaaat?? im not a competent enough writer to make it a fanfiction and i suuuuuuuck at dialogue so probably not a comic either but i do want to keep telling the story for you guys so idk what i’ll do with this au… i’ll stick with this weird “art + a few paragraphs” format i have going on till i figure it out :)

Bonus: Same couple, same place, same season, different time.

Ok, so my brain made this world dumb complex and weird and i dont even know why wtf- SO it’s my moral duty to share it bc i have no use for this shit except to post it :) I don’t want to overwhelm you (YET) with extremely specific  details so i’ll make a Super Quick Rundown of the very basics of how everything works in The Royalty AU uNiVERsE.

Magical Beings

Let’s clear this up first bc a lot of the “LoGiC” of the world is deeply connected to this subject. Right now you need to know about the two main magical beings of the story: Nymphs & Humans.

Nymphs are spirits of nature and have powers related to their surroundings  and elements (ex: floral nymphs live in flower fields and ice nymphs can control ice). On the other hand, Humans get their powers from “Quirks”, a weird phenomena that cut their links with nature and gave them individual and unique abilities. 

Now a days most of the population is mixed blood since nymphs and humans have lived together for so long, but you can tell how close to nymphs someone is by looking at the shape of their ears :3 Ok, lets move on to-

The World

Our heroes live in a vast and rich world that is divided in 2 Kingdoms: The Great Kingdom of Endeavor in the North and in the south The UA which stands for United Alliance... yeah, i didn’t think this through lol i’ll change the name later sorry sdjhfkfjhda

The states of the UA have the biggest mixed population percentage by far and live mainly in nice and warm places that i picture are like ancient Greece or Rome... so beautiful. Endeavor instead takes the MOST METAL places. No human on their right mind would live in such places... but nymphs do and nymphs are pOwERfuLL and who loves power?? it’s-

The Great Kingdom of Endeavor

Led by “The Flame of the North”, this assholes are powerful and smart... they strategically mixed their people with the nymphs from those secluded areas to adapt to the harsh conditions and expand their domain.

The Todoroki Royal Family has "refined” their blood FOR GENERATIONS to be the most overpowered beings ever by only marrying for political and/or genetic convenience. They’re probably the most Nymph-ish a human can be without actually being a nymph. Just bellow the middle mountains tho is-

The United Alliance (the fucking name lmao)

These lovely people live in small, independent states that got together to join forces and trade and be cool B). “The Knights of the South” are their protectors and the strongest among them. In theory, anyone can be a knight.

They have representatives that meet to discuss smart stuff and keep peace among people but, even tho they’re seen as equals, there's a silent agreement that the “The Chosen Hero” is kind of their leader. Who chose this hero you ask? Well, let me introduce you to-

One For All

This dude is a deity now and i have no regrets. He transcended from a mortal life to give his powers to the next generations of heroes with a heart worthy of carrying his ancient magic and protect the world from evil. 

Sadly, he can’t come back to chose a hero since he is, you know, a fORcE oF NatuRE, so he made a sword that only the mightiest of heroes can wield called-

Plus Ultra

It’s said that the first one was made of the same gold as his laurel crown but now, every couple of decades, a little bit of the gold of the original blade is melted to forge a new sword that the current hero will secure in a pedestal, waiting for its rightful owner.

Only One For All’s chosen one can take it out and, when they do, they inherit The Ancient Magic to become the protector of the land and sworn enemy of-

All For One

This mysterious, evil force, instead of choosing to leave the physical realm like One for All did, feeds on human despair and chaos. His minions don’t only consist of the terrible monsters he creates but humans as well, and every couple of decades he gathers enough power to take a human vessel to fight out of the shadows.

Legend says his body still exists, hidden somewhere in the mortal world and that destroying it is the only way to banish him forever... i wonder if our heroes will find it O.o

i tried to make it as simple as possible but there’s a lot of lore (if you can call it that lol) that i couldn’t fit here without scaring most people away woopsie. Keep in mind that some of this stuff might be incorrect bc i simply shared what the people in the world agree is true so maybe there are some surprises here and there?? who knows... >:3
