Flash to Micro SD Card using Etcher or win32diskimager

Activate SSH

Re-insert Micro SD card after being ejected by Etcher

Create an empty "ssh" file in the root / of the Micro SD Card

Activate WIFI

Create a file called "wpa_supplicant.conf" in the root / of the Micro SD Card

The file should contain the following details:

ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=netdev network={ ssid="Watchdog 5.1" psk="Pr1ngles01!" key_mgmt=WPA-PSK }

Insert Micro SD Card to Raspberry Pi and boot up

Connect to Raspberry Pi

SSH to pi@raspberrypi

Username:

pi

Password:

raspberry

Initial configuration

sudo raspi-config

Change default password

Change hostname

From Advanced Options, expand the filesystem

Change the memory split to 16

Swapfile (Expand or Disable)

Expand Swapfile

sudo nano /etc/dphys-swapfile

Change "conf_swapsize=100" to "conf_swapsize=1024"

Press "Ctrl+X", "Y" and "Enter"

sudo /etc/init.d/dphys-swapfile stop

sudo /etc/init.d/dphys-swapfile start

Disable Swapfile

sudo dphys-swapfile swapoff

sudo dphys-swapfile uninstall

sudo update-rc.d dphys-swapfile remove

Run update and install packages

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

sudo apt-get install git htop nmap

(Optional) Disable Bluetooth

sudo nano /boot/config.txt

Add this at the end of the file

# turn bluetooth off dtoverlay=pi3-disable-bt

This is another attempt in my quest to learn how to cook food.

Basically, these are the ingredients that I used:

1 kilo ground pork

2 tbsps oil

2-3 pieces of crushed garlic cloves

1/2 piece of onion (onions are huge here in Budapest)

1 can of tomato sauce (I honestly dunno the size)

1/4 cup water

1/2 bag of carrots and peas mix (okay I cheated a bit)

salt and pepper to your taste

I called my sister back home and my friend Aileen here in Budapest for some advice. I couldn’t seem to remember any of their instructions. lol!

Anyway, so I “experimented” on my own. I heated over low fire around 2 tbsps of oil. Added onions and garlic. Then when they “looked” cooked, I added the ground pork. Continued stirring until the meat has gone brown.

After a while I added half a can of tomato sauce. I noticed, where did the tomato go? So I added more. hahaha! Then I added some water. Eventually, I added the carrots and peas mix and continued to stir. Added salt and pepper.

And there you have it. My very own Giniling Na Baboy (Ground Pork). Tadaa!

Okay so I’ve finally fixed my iPhone. Thanks to jailbreakme.com, I was able to untethered jailbreak my phone.

So how is this related to A&W Rootbeer? After all that restoring and jailbreaking, I went to Culinaris to get me an A&W Rootbeer. hehe!

Okay so my iPhone 3GS crashed on me while we were in Pécs, Hungary. And I was on tethered jailbreak with Blackra1n because it had the latest bootrom. This meant I needed my laptop to power up my iPhone. To make it short, my iPhone was useless to take the photo of the day so I had to use my Canon 450D.

This was taken at the residence of Peter’s grandparents at Hidas, Hungary. It’s near Pécs, Hungary. It’s a very beautiful home. You could sit at the porch or at the swing all day!

Oh yeah, the homemade food was delicious! Peter’s grandparents cooked the best Hungarian dishes. Peter’s cousin also gave each of us free homemade red wines.

Thanks to Peter and Móni for showing Gan and me the beauty of the countryside of Hungary. We met some of Peter’s relatives. We stopped to play in the fields with the rolled straws (szalmabála). It was a memorable road trip.

On our road trip to Pécs, we found a geocache. Fortunately, before my iPhone crashed, we were able to find the correct coordinates. Gan again was very good in finding the cache.

Pécs is another city in Hungary. It’s currently the European Capital of Culture:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Capital_of_Culture. It is not as big as Budapest but I could say it is beautiful.

I went to MOM Park to inquire at Starking about the Apple Universal Dock. It was a bit expensive (16K HUF ~ 4K PHP). It's not practical for a small plastic stand. It doesn't even include the cable.

Some people suggested I ask T-Mobile if they have any available docks because it's cheaper. So I did. T-Mobile MOM Park checked and they have available stocks in their main branch for 3K HUF ~ 750 PHP. Wow! What a price difference!

Although I saw some ingenious ways in the internet on how to make your own iPhone stand, I'd probably still get the Apple Universal Dock.

Anyway, I like MOM Park. This mall is not very crowded. My friends usually watch movies here because they show them in English including 3D movies. I also buy my Apple accessories at Starking MOM Park because they have better choices.

Artemio brought some Cuca beer from his country, Angola. The beer was smooth and tasted good even though it was not cold.

I craved for Merci Chocolates so I went out and got a box from Tesco. I liked the ones with Hazelnut.

What a day!

I officially passed my Project Management Professional Exam!

We had poker night at Aziz's place. Fadzly won only once against Justin in a PS3 Football game.
