Don’t call me weird, but a kiss scene looks very boring/awkward if the hands don’t do anything. It can practically be ruined. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been frustrated by a female lead when she just stands there with her hands by her side, not moving at all. She may be returning the kiss and closing her eyes (I cannot believe closing eyes it’s a plus when it should be a given) but doesn’t do anything with the hands the Lord gave her. And sometimes the same criticism can be used for male lead. But here?? Oh boy, the hands were everywhere!! And I love it! I love KSH and SYJ for it and the director and the editor and whoever else was involved in this scene. I love that they saw through the characters and knew KT and MY had the hots for each other since ep 1 and of course that was going to be seen and translated the first time they actually had the chance to make out and act upon their feelings/desires. They want to TOUCH AND TOUCH THEY DID!

They separate for a brief moment to gaze into each other’s eyes and breathe because damn that looks like a cardio thing haha and I’m in love with the way their eyes basically tell us what they’re thinking. It’s like they’re afraid because of what they’re feeling at that moment. It’s so strong and they weren’t ready for it, especially KangTae (I mean, he knew he had to keep it all inside because it was gonna be crazy if he let it all out but now he knows exactly what was he bottling in).

And then they just think “if this is wrong, then I don’t want to be right” lmao and then just keep at it:

Me after watching that scene:

I loved that lingering moment when KT backs away from her face, because it really looks like he doesn’t want to but I guess the steamy hot session had to end sometime. And he had his fever from the lovesickness (*rolls eyes* what a cheesy boy he turned out to be without his safety pin).

I didn’t want them to stop but it’s a good thing they did because… well, what would happen to us, the audience?
